Not sure if this would work
Canthony/#25 for LBall and a future 2nd (or the #45, but Orl has the #46)
Orl saves a little $ and adds a great vet who provides shooting, defense, leadership. Of course, he has injury concerns but it's a gamble
Bulls add a late pick. I love Ball, but we have Ayo too

I don't think Ball is worth a 1st and Orlando doesn't benefit enough from saving a few Million.

Why do the Bulls want a late guaranteed salary when they swap 1-1 players? Plus if they keep #45. Without another deal to open a roster spot, or they buy out Carter or Terry, and the Bulls don't like paying players to go away. Unless you can identify who specifically the Bulls think they're going to get at #25 that's going to help them, all they're doing is adding a guy at the end of the bench with a guaranteed contract.
If the Magic have trouble scoring why would they trade a more offensive player in Anthony for a defender like Ball? The Bulls could use the defense of both Ayo and Lonzo behind White and Giddey. The Bulls can use that great vet, as they try to advance beyond another play in game.

Orlando doesn’t need or have the luxury to be gambling on more injury plagued players. Especially at the expense of a FRP.

This value is good enough where the Bulls figure things out afterwards. It's a non-discussion.

I don’t think Ball for an expiring Anthony gets CHI a frp…maybe a couple of srps or take back some longer salary…stillhardtoimagine, but I do valueBall’s game as a fit in ORL. I also like KCP next toGiddey which might be the better basis…or, even bigger:
ORL sends: KCP, Goga, Jett, #25
CHI sends: Vuc, Ball

What about Cole, 16, 25 for Lonzo, 12?

Something like this makes more sense to me. Or if Chicago doesn't want to move back, just make it Anthony and some future 2nds and call it a day.
