Knicks package not worth 18.
Dadiet was drafted at 25th last year (was a reach i think) and didnt outperform his slot. 2 seconds dont move up to 18

Dadiet isn't worth a first, and adding two seconds doesn't make up the difference. Wizards easily decline.

Dadiet is a project who’s going to need time. Hopefully the staff helps him develop, but as of right now he doesn’t have this value

I think the question should (a) what’s the highest 2nd the Knicks can get for Dadiet and (b) is there a 4 year college player who’s more ready to contribute than Dadiet available with that pick.
Pacome isn’t worth a 1st right now, but I can see a rebuilding team gambling on his upside with a high 2nd. NY would in theory get a player who can give them minutes right away and save about 650k under the 2nd apron.
One thing about Pacome - his combination of size and athleticism is extremely valuable in today’s NBA. He’s just a few years away from playing meaningful minutes on a contender/pretender.

Champagnie for Dadiet and the Wizards pick would fit the criteria of a cheap, young, rotation -worthy player. Not sure the Wizards do it; they love Champagnie, but I would.
