DEN sends MPJ, unprotected 26 and 28 FRP to BKN for Cam Johnson and fillers
DEN sends Murray to SAC for Demar and Keon Ellis
BKN gets draft picks for rebuild and a solid tank commander
SAC gets a much needed PG and improve upon their poorly fitted back court
DEN gets an efficient outside shooter and a slightly improved defender
DEN gets a proven scorer off the bench and a defensive minded and capable 3 point shooting PG
Sign a veteran PG like Tyus Jones
Starting line up: Joker, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, Braun, Ellis or Jones
Bench: Demar and fillers

Denver can not trade those picks due to Stepien rule.

Even if that trade was possible its a lateral move at best while losing the draft capital.
Cam is better than MPJ but is still very overrated and mediocre. DeRozan suck rocks and cant even spread the floor. The rest of the guys are irrelevant.

These trades make Denver worse.

Denver can't trade any draft picks until 2031. Even if they could, moving two of them and MPJ for Cam Johnson (Johnson at his contract may be very very slightly more valuable than MPJ with his contract, but absolutely not two first rounders better) would be terrible.
I would not want DeRozan over Murray AT ALL. Like, no way. That one isn't even worth discussing.

Denver doesn't have two firsts but they would not trade MPJ and two 1sts to downgrade to Cam Johnson lol.

If Denver was able to trade those 2 firsts, they would probably use them to dump Saric and Westbrook when they pick up their PO xD

Actually if they pick their POs they became trade assets as expiring contracts. Other teams will be more interested in reciving them with Nuggets 2031 1st for $8M player than Nnaji who has similar per year contract but with 3 years left

I like the thinking behind the 2nd deal, but it’s light for Denver and financially Sacramento would have to include another player to match salary. I like Murray/Saric/Pickett for Ellis/DeRozan/Monk for both teams and the salaries match almost exactly

Denver turning Murray into three rotational guards/scorers seems like a dream come true. Sacramento might just be nuts enough to do this.

Ellis hasn't proven anything, Monk is a bench player, and Demar would make the Nuggets worse. They should hang on to Murray. They won't get better by trading him.

That is pretty terrible for the kings.
I am pretty high on Keon Ellis, I think he is developing into a premiere defender and he is a good shooter in my mind he is a perfect 5th starter on a good team. I think monk is on a bargain deal, and his production exceeds his contract.
You could get DeRozan and one of the other 2 and that is probably the most.
I still like the idea of porter for DeRozan.

this probably makes Jokic retire honestly. Murray is the best player in this whole thread, 2 picks to turn MPJ into Cam? Crazy.
Rather get Sexton than Monk, same impact type of player, probably much cheaper than this
