New Orleans adds four rookies in this draft while moving any player not named Zion, Murphy III, Herb, Reeves and Matkovic in separate deals to reset the timeline around the core.

Brooklyn hopes Milwaukee trades Giannis sometime this season. The Indiana pick could be better than 26 and 27 next season.

Re: New Orleans / Brooklyn
The 2026 Mil first is the 2026 NOP first.
Would be bad value either way for NOP, but yeah.
I guess this could be built into Giannis to Brooklyn, where NOP agrees to give up the right to swap?

Re: New Orleans / Brooklyn
Is New Orleans trading the better of New Orleans/Milwaukee 2026 1st for this? Probably not.
I think Indiana 1st for some combination of those picks (#19, #26 & #27) is possible. New Orleans would need to highly value a player available at one of those 3 pick spots when the clock starts.

Re: New Orleans / Brooklyn
Yeah theres not alot of reason to do this given the very real potential for Giannis to leave either this offseason or during the year.
