BKN Out: #27, Cameron Johnson
BKN In: #14, Keldon Johnson
SAS Out: #14, Keldon Johnson
SAS In: #27, Cameron Johnson
The Nets move up in the lottery and better position themselves to hop around if need be with #14, #19 and #26.
The Spurs need more dynamic wing play as Devin Vassell is grossly overpaid and unproductive, and has been even pre-injury. They add a diverse Wing who provides an offense punch to their offense.

I can see this being offered by the Spurs and I can see the Nets laughing it off. I would imagine the Spurs aren’t looking for late picks but future picks.
The spurs need to shed weight and get rid of their busts and include them in trades as well as filler.

Well, this is probably the first trade proposal in a while whose motivation is actuallly improving the Spurs as opposed to solving another team's problems first and foremost, so the title fits. Yes, this works for me. Congrats you have wemby's seal of approval

Damn didn't know trading Giannis fixed the Bucks problems more than he helped the Spurs. I wonder if our Bucks fans agree with this take? And I'm told these bad threads are only made by fans of the other team. So we must have dozens of Bucks fans posting Giannis to SA threads.....oh wait that didnt' actually happen.

If WAS or UTA want to trade down for #8 + #14 for some reason, then yes, otherwise, don't see it for the Nets, they have 6 picks in this draft, including #8 and #19.

I didn't know acquiring a good player in Julius Randle, who is better than De'Aaron Fox while being acquired for less than what the Spurs paid for Fox, a bad deal for the Spurs.
I recently found out about the "foe" function and will be utilizing it to make you and other moderators jobs easier

They still have 6 picks after this trade.
They will be better positioned to move around in the draft with higher-leveraged picks.
#8 + #14 + #19 can move up very far
#14 + #19 can move up
#14 can acquire some real juicy, future 1sts from a team, I don't think #19 can
And, most importantly, Brooklyn is selling Cameron Johnson after his best year in his late 20s, rather than holding onto him and letting his value depreciate.

If the KD deal does not happen I would accept OP's deal as proposed. But there's so much smoke about KD to SA and the 14th pick will almost certainly be included unless it turns into a three team deal and Phoenix would rather have two later firsts from BKN (26 and 27) vs the 14th pick

They replace good player with 6 pick to 6 picks w/o the player, I don't see the added value.
They'd insist on Hawks 1st, top 4 protected.

yeah I don't get the argument for why they wouldn't make the deal being improving their draft position. It would come down to if they thought the value was good. No new problem was created for the Nets here.

I think the Spurs would gladly trade the Hawks 1st instead of #14.
