Hawks get Lauri
Hawks add Lauri to their squad to try contend in 25-26.
Trae, Dyson, JJ, Lauri, Okongwu -- Bufkin, LeVert, Capela
Jazz get Risacher, Mann, Niang
Jazz grab a promising young player for Lauri, start off a rebuild.

It's not insane for either team, but I can't see either GM doing it

Why doesn't the Jazz do it? Risacher is a high-potential prospect, he even owes the Hawks at least 21 in my opinion.

I agree that Utah should do this. Even if Risacher is just a third option who plays good defense he is pretty clearly a part of a core we'd have 5 years from now and Lauri isn't. It would mean we have at least two worthwhile young players on the team in Risacher and Kessler.

Atlanta shouldn’t do this cuz I wanna trade KP for Mann, Niang, but it’s pretty solid. Jazz at least gotta send 21 tho.

Because their GM is Danny Ainge.

No, he isn't.
Justin Zanik has been the General Manager (GM) for some time now. They have a new president of basketball operations, Danny Ainge's son, Austin Ainge.

I don't think this is good for Atlanta. You don't trade a recent #1 pick for a stat padding never touched team success Lauri

I assume Ainge is still head decision maker, and it's just a change of titles.

Be careful with acting so much on assumptions

I don't communicate with their front office.

Not anymore, his son is. It was made very clear that Austin Ainge has final say. Our front office situation is a bit different than a lot - Zanik is recovering from a kidney transplant and has had health issues, so it sounds as though he doesn't handle all of the day-to-day, and Danny is aging and doesn't want to be full-time. So Austin Ainge is the person in charge and the person with final say.
