Boston Receives: Wendell Carter Jock Landale Cam Whitmore
Why for Houston - Add KD while only dropping 6 spots in this draft and giving up no future draft equity. Grayson gives them a big boost of shooting off the bench. Still have all of your best defensive players to surround KD and Sengun. Can bring back FVV, Adams, and draft another big at 16 and stay under the 1st apron. With improvement from their young guys next season, this team could be a favorite heading into the playoffs.
Why for Phoenix - Adding shooting, defense, and draft equity around Booker as they've indicated they want to prioritize. KP and Jabari give them great length, defense and shooting up front. KCP had a down shooting year in Orlando but remains a very good defensive player and should see his shooting revert. Houstan adds another shooter on a minimum deal. At #10, could add a forward like Carter Bryant or CMB or go with a guard like Jakucionis.
Why for Orlando - Jalen gives them what they've been missing in the backcourt. He can be the lead guy offensively for stretches and play off of Paolo and Franz. Should slot in much better as a third option than a bigger role in Houston. They still have Black, Howard, and all of their future draft equity if they want to make another move.
Why for Boston - After waiving Landale, this move saves them $16M in salary. Carter has been compared to Horford since he came into the league and this could be his opportuntiy to be directly mentored by him and grow into the Celtics center for their next run when Tatum comes back. Cam is a high upside swing who can get plenty of reps with Tatum out next season.

My max offer for Durant, salary filler aside is Green, #10
Assigning that level of value to the Durant portion means for the rest: Cam, Jabari for #16, Allen
That is a no for me.

Boston doesn't fully save that. Landale's salary for this season has to be guaranteed for Houston to use him as matching in a trade.
Phoenix gets too much, Houston is about right, Orlando gets shafted by paying to take on Green's bloated contract.

Orlando needs a playmaker, not just a scorer. Doesnt really fit what they need.
So basically the Magic gets a worse pick, while also handing over the 16th pick to take on Jalen Green's contract? This is a bad deal for them. I also don't believe that Jabari Smith Jr inclusion is necessary if the Rockets are giving up the 10th pick, especially if the Rockets can find a 3rd team to take on Green's contract.

Take Jabari and the Magic out.
Add the Jazz and make it a Green for Collins swap, with Collins to Phx.

Can you reformat it to show both the In and Out for each team? I can't keep track of who's trading who for whom

What's the compensation to Utah for trading expiring salary for a bad multi year deal?

Thank you so much! Much easier to read.
Boston I think must say yes to this. I'm way low on Porzingis and this deal, in my opinion, improves them both financially AND on the court.
Orlando... I don't know what they think of Jalen Green but I feel like this might be worth it to land a guy who still has some big upside to him. They're not giving up anything they'll miss all that terribly.
And now to the main players
I think you've done it. I think you've cracked the code and come up with the right Durant trade.

You have to know the Suns aren’t taking back Green. Just say you're not interested in trading for Durant.

I don't love Greens contract, and it is the only reason I'd consider giving up on Green and 10 for Durant. I think it is better to burn the cash and make Green a 6th man, move Amen to starting SG, and fill in wing spots with Tari, Jabari, Brooks.
Bring back Adams, Sheppard gets all the Holiday minutes, even if it costs us some games... and bpa for the 10th pick. It was the first time most of the guys tasted the playoffs, no reason to panic and over react to a game 7 Warriors loss. Hell I'd be ok if they moved Brooks, declined FredVV, and took a step back.

Houston doesn't view Green as a bad multi year deal.

Will probably be tough to use him in a trade then because I imagine most teams will, so there's value HOU would have to make up. It's fine if HOU doesn't value him like that, but if other teams do then you need to make up that value for them to accept.

I don't particularly care what the Suns want, nor am I advocating its good for them and they should take it.
Its simply the offer.
Its now the Sun's job is to compare it too all the other offers, and do what is best for them.
I am "meh" on Durant. I could be excited if he comes at the right price, and I am also fine if he gets traded somewhere else.

I don't particularly care how Houston views Green's deal. If the Rockets FO feels the same way as you, they should plan to keep him for the life of his deal. The Jazz shouldn't take on that bloated contract without heavy compensation.

I mean, they just signed the deal, so I expect that is what they plan

The only reason I put that is I have seen other Jazz fans propose it, so dunno.
