New Orleans outgoing

Herb Jones
Dejounte Murray

San Antonio outgoing

Devin Vassell
Keldon Johnson
#14

New Orleans uses Herb to move Murray instead of picks. We see if Vassell and Keldon can be apart of the Zion/Trey/Matkovic/Reeves core. Vassell starts and Keldon comes off the bench. #14 is used to take either a shooter or a center, whichever we don't take at #7.

San Antonio brings Murray back to add Herb to the Spurs culture. Wemby/Castle/Herb/#2 can compete now.

I don’t think SA is the right place to rehab Murray’s value. Herb would be nice, but I also think there’s hope Sochan can get there soon.

If you take out the Vassell / Murray swap, I think this is a deal for SA, but NOP probably thinks they can get more elsewhere and SA doesn’t want to add anything further of significance.

Look, I think the Spurs can fit in three PGs who need minutes, but adding Murray would be pushing it.

Take out Murray, the Spurs don't need more point guards. Focus on getting Herb to SA for either Vassell or the #14 and filler.

The reason I'm willing to move Herb here is to dump Murray.

Then somewhere that doesn't have three PGs makes way more sense.
