SAS / PHO / MEM: Classic Durant w Vassell to Memphis

I’m not a huge Durant to Spurs guy, but Memphis is now an obvious spot for Vassell, who would fit pretty seamlessly into the Bane role at a much lower cost.

Anthony / Clarke / Draft capital
Vassell

Obviously depends on what the draft capital is, but opinions on the value of Durant and Vassell are pretty wide so I’m just going to leave it at this…

Why is Memphis in there sucking value? Cut them out. The suns take Vassell package

I think Memphis might consider being part of a Vassell spin off if Phoenix doesn't want him. Likely won't give up much more than shorter contracts/2nds for him.

If Houston flips Green in the KD deal, now I think Memphis has to consider a buy low on him as well. Again likely no value outgoing beyond shorter contracts/2nds.

Spurs are not sending Vassell + 14 + draft capital for Durant, except if by "draft capital" you mean a couple of SRPs.

Yeah Green definitely makes sense too

Cassell is a PG though. Those others are not. Allen can come off the bench. If I were the suns I rather have Vassell

Cassell is a great pg, for the 1995 Rockets. Vassell is not a PG, never has been.

Yeah I was getting him confused with castle. Still not sure about the Memphis part
