Memphis tanks for one year (good draft coming). Clears contracts and proceeds with Edey, Harper, 10, 14, high pick in 2026, lower of phx/was in 2026. Plus all the picks still coming and whoever it gets from Houston.

I think we are retooling but this is likely good ballpark of trades from Memphis POV would consider. I am not a Harper would be 1st overall in most draft guy so I don't have this as bad for SA as those that do. SA likely can find a way to do a JJJ renegotiation too. Houston likely overpaying if I am reading it right a little.

5 lottery picks for Ja Morant seems outrageous considering his inability to make it through a postseason without missing half the games.

I am not sure if Ja is actually good TBH.

The tier of flashy, yet not all that efficient PGs is the hardest class of player for me to evaluate.

Trae, Lonzo, Fox, Ja.....I don't know that teams will value these players as much as commonly believed.

If I wanted this skillset, I probably just bring back Harden for a legacy run.
