New Orleans outgoing
Herb Jones
Golden State outgoing
Moses Moody
#41
GS '26 1st rd pick
GS'27 1st rd pick
New Orleans cashes in on Herb and looks to retool around our core with Moody and potentially good picks.
Golden State goes all in and adds to the core of Steph/Jimmy Buckets/Draymond for another championship run.

Is Herb Jones healthy? It seems like a bunch of NO guys have injury issues.
Even healthy you'd have to take out the 2027 1st, both for CBA reasons and also value - it's too likely to be a lottery pick as the Warriors core ages.
In general I can see GS offering their 2026 1st (preferably with top-4 protection) but not any other 1sts.

We're not doing it for just a late teens to later pick, we'd need the 2027 1st rd pick. Golden State can keep the 2026 1st and just send the 2027 pick.

I love Herb as a player, but he doesn't really fit what we need at the moment and so I wouldn't be inclined to offer a premium for him.
Murphy, on the other hand, I'd back up the Brinks truck for.

Herb had a labrum tear in his right shoulder. He is left handed and was actually shooting with his left hand not long after procedure. He should be fine. And he did it diving for a ball and someone landed on top of him. Was a freak accident sort of thing.
