New Orleans outgoing

Murray
Hawkins
#23
NOP/MIL '26 1st

Brooklyn outgoing

Claxton

New Orleans brings in a starting center to pair with Zion.

Brooklyn takes on Murray and sees what they have Hawkins. They get assets in #23 and a first round pick next year.

This is a worthy gamble for the Nets given the potential of that '26 pick.

I get Murray is a negative at this point but i think you can get a decent center equal or better than Claxton for the Indy first and one of our expirings. Not worth sacrificing the bucks pick.

Somehow Lakers get Claxton for Vincent, Hachimura and 2nd rounder but Pelicans have to put 2 picks(one of which has high potential), young player and former all star...
First of all this makes 0 sense for Pelicans since we have Missi who is same type of player as Claxton and i think he will at least be on Claxton level in the future, if not better.
2nd of all, value is far to high, i know Murray is injured, but if we need to throw picks to get rid of him i would just keep him and see what happens when he returns, Pelicans are not contending anyway.

Lakers get anything they want apparently
