The obvious stupid question is, where is Josh Giddey? You don't list him and act like the Bulls are tanking to give young players some experience. Knechte and Black the starting backcourt, glue sniffing is the only way somebody sees that happening. And the Bulls give away White who has been a starter 3/6 seasons , 2nd place most improved player and Dosunmu who has started 40% of his NBA career. Knechte and Black combined have started 58 or 225 games. At this point not even I see them starting Patrick Williams at the SF.
The Bulls want to move on from Jevon Carter who just didn't fit what they were doing. So why in the heck do they want Gabe Vincent who does the same thing at the same size but for twice the money?
Fail

The White for Black swap at the heart of this worst for Chicago (even if the OP doesn't have the depth chart close) but not for Orlando.
White is better now but is a UFA likely getting a significant raise next summer. I don't see how Orlando possibly keeps him (if they hadn't traded for Bane and made White their main guard addition this summer then they could afford to resign him). IMO Black's long-term value is too much to give for a guy who's strictly a rental in a bench role.

I feel for Chicago here. Solid deals for Orlando and LAL, don't see it for Chicago without picks being involved.

White reportedly is looking for $40AAV, this alone makes this DOA for Orlando. Orlando needs cheap reliable depth not another $30-$40M dollar player.

Same teams:
Bulls trade Dosunmu and Smith, receive Rui.
Lakers trade Rui and Knecht, receive Smith and Goga.
Magic trade Goga, receive Dosunmu and Knecht.

Much more realistic for where ORL is this week.

In the OP, I see the best 3 assets as White, Black and Goga -- with the caveat that White has to be significantly discounted because he's on an expiring contract that is too low a salary to extend. So in value, I'd order it as Black, Goga, then White -- and in the OP, CHI and ORL both bleed value, with the LAL benefitting
I think DNP-old's counter is much more realistic

Lakers would be keen to get both Ayo and Goga.
Maybe something like:
Dalton for Ayo
Kleber/2030 swap for Goga

I'm sure they would...NO...not for that.
How did Knecht jump back in the safe?
For ORL, I'd rather have Ayo than Knecht...but I'd move Goga for Knecht - if ORL didn't have to take back bad matching salary...maybe send that swap to a team with some cap space to facilitate.

Fanspo says it works with Rui to the Bulls, Knecht to the Magic and Smith, Goga and Ayo to LAL.

While the trade is fine, we only have 2 trade assets really if no AR is being added (I think Rui on expiring and Kleber and GAbe as expirings are slight positive to neutrals though). So it may not be wise to use it like this
I only go with Goga if we failed at Kessler (would need 1st, Knecht, swaps, and maybe even finding draft comp from outside by moving expirings/Rui), Allen, Claxton? (depends on the price), Ayton (depends on the price)
Also Ayo is fine, but similar to Goga in that I dont know if these guys can close out finals games, and we need that

None of these are appealing to Chicago but the OP trade specifically, I'd much rather be getting a pick for Coby than anything else in this topic.
