I think this will be it. SA/Hou will pass, so the Heat are the last team standing. I posted this before, but I think it's the deal now for sure

Suns send KD to Heat
Suns get Ayo, Vuc, DRobinson, JJJ, Jovic, #45, 2029 or 30 Heat unprotected 1st (not sure if '29 is available)

Miami sends Rozier/#20 to Chi and JJJ/Jovic/DRob to Suns
Miami gets KD

Bulls send Vuc/Ayo/#45 to Heat
Bulls get Rozier/#20

Heat go for Finals
Herro/Mitchell
Wiggins/Herro
KD/Highsmith
Bam/Anderson
Ware/Bam
plus vets on the deep bench. KD puts them near the top of the East, Spo can push them over

Suns add A TON of depth
Ayo/Beal
Booker/Beal/Allen (trade him if possible)
Ryan/DRob/Martin
Jovic/JJJ
Vuc/Richards

Bulls add #20 to take Beringer/Sorber/Wolf, pick a PF (Noa, Fleming, Newell) at #12 and go with
White/Ball/Carter
Giddey/Huerter/Rozier
PWill/Phillips/Terry
Matas/#12
Collins/JSmith/#20

I, personally, wouldn't give 2 first round picks and Jovic for a 37 year old KD

Don't you think Herro/Wiggins/KD/Bam/Ware could win the East? I might have them as favorites next spring, if healthy

Personally don't care about age, just projected production and I think KD is still going to be impactful enough the next 3 years.

i) I think this is a bit too much for KD though and the Suns are already getting enough, just remove that late Heat pick (or Jovic) and it would be close to a deal for me
ii) I'd try to keep Duncan out of it, with Wiggins on the roster there is no flexibility and they'd be a tax team. Maybe they can try and flip Wiggins (or Anderson) for more flexibility, but requires more moves

Gone back and forth trading for KD and I rather do it, because I think the fit with KD would work and help keeping Bam/Herro value high if the team is successful. After KD window you can reevaluate again what you do (where you also have the 32,33,34 picks to trade). It doesn't really hurt giving up a few assets and dead money contracts, just helps them continue to evaluate their players with most upside in Ware/Herro/Davion in particular and stay competitive with a punchers chance

PHX getting robbed, imo, no reason for CHI to get #20 for what they’re giving/getting…maybe if that went on the pile of meh going to PHX

No, I don't. And even if I did that doesn't mean we should overpay for a 37 year old injury prone KD who's ruined every team he's been on since Golden State. He's not a leader and he's not the guy to step in a bring this franchise back to the finals.

I understand, but Bam/Herro are in place, and Spo is the best coach in the league. Extend him for one season, and go for it over 2 years. I know they just dealt with Butler's drama, but KD surrounded by tons of talent is a potent club

Honestly, I don't think SA will bid.
Then, it's Hou or Miami. Maybe Hou sits out. This deal gives them 2 starters that fit in Ayo/Vuc, plus 3 bench pieces who can contribute, and a future 1st.
I just don't think KD has that much value anymore, and the Suns have to move him

No thanks. For that price, or more (and I'm willing to pay more) we can get younger and actually have a viable window.

I am really interested to see the price for KD. It seems the Texas teams are not giving the premium assets or quality young guys up, which they 100% should not.
Miami is sort of in a treadmill zone here but they have some good players in Hero, Bam, and I think Ware will be legit. Adding Durrant seems like a year to year thing. He probably is good next year but who knows going forward. The price tag has to be reflective of that and giving up to much in draft picks seems self defeating…especially if they are bidding against themselves.
I think the OP is not bad though…I could see Miami having some hesitation

The finalists in the Kevin Durant trade sweepstakes as a resolution arrives soon: Heat, Rockets, Raptors, Spurs, Timberwolves. Minnesota and Toronto are believed to possess the Suns’ current best offers for Durant, but he has held firm on not wanting to end up at either destination.

The Heat’s offer for Kevin Durant could become the top option if the Texas teams are not willing to increase their proposals soon.
Miami can build an enticing package for the Suns around Andrew Wiggins, Nikola Jović and/or Jaime Jaquez, No. 20 overall pick, plus a future 1st.
