Atlanta gets: Anthony Davis, Caleb Martin

Atlanta gets arguably the perfect player outside of Wemby to pair with Trae. AD would give the Hawks one of the best starting 5 in the East. They also turn Mann's bigger contract into Martin's smaller one.

AD wouldn't like it, but he would have to play as the 5 next to JJ if we're trading for him. Swap JJ for OO, and i'd do it then.

And that's not even a rational counter for Dallas. Can understand if Atl wouldn't do op due to age and health, but come on, that's just insulting

I personally think this is a bit light for Dallas. Very interesting for ATL though. I think change 22 to 13 and maybe it’s there.

Never suggested it to be a rational counter. Simply not interested in AD if it's costing us JJ. That said, i'm not sure how much more Dallas would want from us if it's OO included and not JJ. I'm not throwing in Risacher. Not including Dys. Not giving up an unprotected pick. So, if it comes down to it, the proposal is just DOA, and I'm okay with that.

I could be intrigued if it was #13 + OO instead of JJ + throw in Kobe Bufkin and a 2nd if need be.

No issue with Atlanta fans wanting to keep Jalen though. He looked great and is really young still.

But if 4 starters are off the table, it becomes a volume based offer..

Hawks can't count on injury prone players who happen to be over 32 no matter how good they are perceived to be.

Beyond terrible for the Mavs. That's virtually nothing from Hawks worth the AD trade to me unless it's taking with cap space and 5 unprotected 1sts.

Oh i have no clue what they would be intrigued by im just saying what i would be ok with lol. Im perfectly fine keeping my boy JJ on the Hawks he is literally my favorite player on the entire team. I would take him over Trae going forward if i had to trade one away and i wouldn't even have to think about it.

Although lets not act like that front office won't do crazy trades they literally just traded Luka away lol. They took less value back in that trade so who can guarantee it wouldn't happen again

WIth Hali sadly looking like eh may be out for much of next season, East is even more wide open. Yea I want AD gone from Dallas, but him and Trae, with Daniels and a sophomore Risacher could go really far in the East. They do get to dump Mann as well

For Dallas, man cant think of a more exciting front court than Flagg-Jalen Johnson-Lively

Nah, dont see why Dallas would give up Gaff also and then take on Mann and not get any picks back. I think Jalen fits much better with Flagg than Risacher, and the latter fits with AD and with his rookie salary, helps Atl's $ more.

I don't see JJ being up for grabs so easily, I think he's the least likely hawk to be traded.

I think every other combination gets thrown out there before JJ does.

It also doesn't make directional sense to give up JJ and keep Risacher when you trade for Davis. Clearly the idea is to try contend.
