Man Houston stood firm on their package.
PHX not able to squeeze one of their picks (sorry Chuck) is a coup for Houston.
Also the rivalry with OKC just got a lot more firepower.

Initial gut reaction is it’s fine for both teams. But don’t particularly love it for either team.
Also, kind of hate it broke right before game 7.

Sun's couldn't rope in their center. Brooks or Allen should be moving for that.
Love this for Houston. Low cost upgrade

It’s a good deal but I hate losing Brooks. He was fun to watch and loved his attitude. Especially during the playoffs.

Geez well done Houston. They got KD without giving up any PHX picks, Sengun, or Jabari.
What a fumble by PHX. Some of the reported offers at the deadline were much better than this.

Terrible for PHX. Green is one of the worst contracts in the entire league. Couldn't get back one of your picks, Whitmore, or Jabari. Pathetic return

Some poetry here that 10 is a pick from Phoenix.
Was this offer really about to go off the table? What’s the urgency for PHX? No other serious takers?

Wonderful for Houston. And one more proof that anytime you hear the phrase "five second round picks," you can be sure that the team receiving them is in bad shape.

Getting Durant and getting off of Green's contract is a double win.
I'll be interested to see if Houston makes another move or bets on Sheppard improvement.

Finally!!!! Now I guess San Antonio is the probably going to make their run at Giannis
I guess the Phoenix doesn't want Green rumors were just that

Vleet, Amen, Sengun, KD - start
Fifth- either Eason or Jabari.
Sheppard and Whitmore will get more minutes.
I know they will try a super big lineup occasionally: Sengun, Adams, Jabari, KD with Amen at point. No rebounds for the other team.

Yup I will be rooting for Dillon Brooks wherever he is when the dust settles. He may commit the dumbest foul you've ever seen in the waning moments of a game (see game 3 on Jimmy vs GSW) but I loved him

Really thought Phoenix could push for a protected first or Jabari if they took back Green. Guess they told themselves 5 seconds is the same.
Great deal for Houston.. If KD extends, they should trade Jabari the same day. But keeping everything that matters to going on a deep run this season? And keeping the youth that matters for the future.
Phoenix can get a really good player in a trade using 10… but feels like they should have dragged this out a while and pushed for more. Harden style..
I’m still open to Green and 29 for Gafford, Klay, and Martin being built into this. Just throwing it out there..

Would it be safe to say that Durant took leverage away from them to get more from someone else? He wanted Houston or Miami. Would have to think he forced his way to Houston, and they knew they didn't have to pony up more.

This is about where it was always going to be, good for the Rockets, as expectected for the Suns.
