Rozier/JJJ/20 for DDR
Heat get their scorer. Kings get role players (one that can be long term) and a pick.
This is a rumored deal.

This would be ideal for sac. My guess is we get to pick one or the other

How do you figure?
The real trade is DDR for JJJ/20. Scary Terry is salary filler with equal or slightly negative value.
This is balanced as it sits.

Would Sacramento do Terry, #20 and JJJ for Derozan, Carter and the 2027 SAS 1st. Another option if Sacramento did not want Rozier and wanted to free up more money now is something like Duncan (partial guarantee of $9.5) Highsmith (expiring and a great 3 and D fit with the Kings) #20 and JJJ for the same package as above?

I dont think DDR is worth 20 and expiring

If we want both I think we need to include the charlotte 2nds and hope thats enough.
Ddr + Charlotte 2nds
For
Jjj + rozier + 20
Maybe thats enough?

Horrific for Miami. Each individual piece they are trading is better than DeRozan

I would be very unhappy. Perry shouldn’t have to use any firsts or Carter/Keon/Keegan.

Zero chance am I including Carter or the Spurs 1st, let alone both, to get Jaquez and the 20. Maybe folks are just way higher on Jaquez than I am but I don't see him as anything more than a 7-8th guy in the rotation.

Id rather keep whoever we pick at 20 over trading him for a 36 year old Demar Derozan, especially if we weren't going to trade it for a 37 year old KD.

I guess you haven't watched Terry Rozier play basketball in a while.

Id rather his expiring than seeing DDR on my team

You have some really extreme opinions, DDR is still a good offensive basketball player, maybe the pick is unnecessary I'm not sure.. but DDR for Rozier/JJJ makes the Heat a better team

Respectfully, you seem to value what we call box score whores like DDR and Jalen green. These guys put up numbers sure, but they are not guys you want on yuor team to take you far and win.

Rozier and Jaquez is what makes that most sense for Miami. Jaquez is a solid prospect, but I am not sure he fits in Miami's system.
Miami desperately needs another scorer/shot creator besides Herro, who struggles to get to the line consistently. DeRozan would really help. I know a lot of Heat fans on these boards do not want DeRozan, but I really value what he can bring to Miami.

This trade is as much of a salary dump for Sacramento than anything else. DeRozan doesn’t fit and he has two years left of his deal.
Rozier - for as bad as he was last year - is an expiring contract and his skill set actually fits in better with the Kings roster than DeRozan
It feels like a straight swap is fair value IMO.
Remember - Miami is in line to have +/- $25MM in cap space in the summer of 2026, which could expand to 65mm if Wiggins declines his $30mm player option (which I think is likely) and they get off SlowMo.

This is something we have read about Julius Randle and then he just had a very good playoffs for a Minnesota team that got to the WCF.
Miami would be getting a guy who, if he plays in 65 games and average at least 20ppg over the next 3 seasons, will pass Carmelo Anthony and Shaq in all-time scoring (he'd be 11th all-time a few hundred points behind Moses Malone). And he's on a great deal: 2-years, $48M.

Don’t see why Miami pays both here. Either one is still a really good deal for Sacramento.
But I don’t love them ending up with Terry, so assume they’d be building this into a bigger deal either way. Terry is just the salary matching, and as an expiring - I don’t think Sac gets to charge a tax for him being the salary..
