DAL in: Jrue Holiday, Shake Milton, 2031 LAL lightly protected FRP
DAL out: Klay Thompson, PJ Washington, and Max Christie

BOS in: Klay Thompson, Dalton Knecht, Maxi Kleber
BOS out: Jrue Holiday

LAL in: PJ Washington and Max Christie
LAL out: Dalton Knecht, Maxi Kleber, Shake Milton, and 2031 lightly protected FRP

Dallas clears some of their forward glut and receive both a FRP and a veteran guard that fits their defensive identity and can steady the ship until Kyrie returns.

Boston gets off of Jrue's contract and takes a flier on Dalton Knecht after a rookie season that showed some flashes.

LAL pays a first and Dalton Knecht to re-acquire Max Christie and reunite PJ Washington with Luka. I know folks think they should use the few assets they have on a center but they desperately need players that can guard the ball and on the wing.

If there is a team who will take Klay/Knecht for Boston, then they could use a pick to dump Kleber and then I think its worth doing for Boston. But this doesn't really save them much money this year nor help them that much on the court. Feels incomplete for Boston.

Lakers make out too well on value here mainly at Dallas expense. Klay and Jrue should have very similar value, PJ+Christie should be worth more than a distant first with the upside cut completely off.

From the outside looking in think LAL might be better off with a different mix of players in return on the trade but IDK. Value seems alright.

I dont see this as realistic, but I think the value is fair. Also salries an issue I think (so throw in Gabe's expiring and give us back Shake)

The issue is we dont have a C still and no assets for one...

Unless you think Portland will take Rui, Vando, Shake, and swaps in the far future for Ayton

Luka, Christie, Bron, PJ, Ayton
Reaves, DFS, Mle and vet mins

Any other C's available for Rui?

The Lakers shouldn't be targeting a PF and 3rd wing-type talent with their 2031 1st. Bad asset management for a team with a good PF (LeBron) and a player who ideally defends the weakest wing (typically a PF) in Luka, while they have good switch wings and a center.
