Final Pre-Draft Bulls Plan (OKC/Bos/BRK)

1. The steady, reliable Port pick for Dieng/#24
OKC saves $/roster spots and adds another future pick
2. Vuc to Bos
Ayo to BRK
KP/#36 to Chi
Bos saves A LOT of $ and gets an expiring Vuc who plays nightly
White/Simons/Brown/?/Vuc can still make the playoffs
BRK gets Ayo to start with Cam Thomas cheaply
Bulls draft Newell/Noa/Fleming at #12 and maybe Wolf at #24 (or just BPA)
Resign Giddey
White/Ball/JCarter
Giddey/Huerter/Terry
Matas/Phillips
PWill/Newell/Dieng (open competition among them and Phillips for minutes)
KP/Collins/JSmith
Plus #24
That team is huge and has some talent. If DP plays 60 games, they can easily be top 6 in the East and MAYBE win a round

I feel like the Holiday trade changes the outlook of that Blazers pick a little and makes it a lot closer to hit as a late teens pick. I don’t think I’d throw it away for a cap dump/mid-20’s pick.

I agree, but the West is still stacked so Port is a long shot for the 2026 playoffs, as of now
The #24 could bring a REALLY good value deal, and there should be some good players available (of course, we might draft another DTerry, which would be a waste). Also, I like taking a swing on Dieng

If Dieng believes in himself as you believe in him, he should be a star.

There's 24 more hours, nobody thinks this is the last
There's no justification for trading the Ayo , that improving prospect PORT pick and the durable expiring Vucevic for the overpriced, fragile no better Porzingas and #36 who won't have any better chance at making the roster than their own #45
I don't even see Ousmane Dieng being happy coming to CHI to have the chance to compete for a 3rd string SF slot behind starter Patrick Williams who you can't find five other people besides me that wants him to play at all.

For sure,
I just think he's a talented kid who won't get minutes there, but could develop into a stud. Worth the gamble (plus I want Chi to play Matas at the 3, so Dieng/Newell additions would force that)

Buzelis is such a stud . You all drafted good last season.
