Kings - Nuggets - Pelicans a different variation

Kings out: LaVine, Demar
Kings in: MPJ, Dejounte, Zeke

Why for Sac? Bad contracts for bad contracts. Only these ones fit the roster long term a lot better.

Nuggets out: Saric, MPJ, Zeke
Nuggets in: LaVine

Why for Nuggets? Use bad contracts to turn MPJ into LaVine. LaVine has faults, but he was a very efficient scorer last year, and he can slot into the 2nd/3rd scoring role.

Pelicans out: Dejounte
Pelicans in: Demar, Saric

Why for Pelicans? This version has them keeping Herb, while still moving off Dejounte for a guy who should help produce wins, and keep the scoring afloat when Zion inevitably misses part of the season.
Fears - Herb - Murphy - Zion - Missi
Alvarado - Poole - Demar - Bey - Queen

Like this one better for Denver but still feel they owe value.

Kings are taking a risk on DJM coming back. And not looking like he did last season. Kings are stuck taking Nnaji.

It might be minor, but Sac is owed something here imo..

Thats fair. But I think the upside for Sac is absolutely there.

On paper moving forward

Dejounte - Keon - Keegan - MPJ - Sabonis

That starting lineup has a great mix of shooting, defense, and size. I would love if there was a piece not named Zeke that made it work salary wise, but I think Sac still bites their tongue and says risk it. Even if Dejounte misses all of next year, Sac desperately wants a pg, to the point we are hearing rumors of Russ/Schroder. This is getting 1 even if he comes back at 80% of what he was.

Yeah, I think the lineup works. But I think I’d just be calling Dumars.

His pick of LaVine or Demar and a first for DJM and Herb.

Ya that is true. Which is basically my original idea but cutting out Denver, and adding a 1st from Sac.

Lavine + Minnesota 2031 1st for Dejounte + Herb

Dejounte - Keon - Herb - Keegan - Sabonis
Carter - Nique - JV

+ whatever they can get for Demar? (maybe Klay + Martin?)

Don't hate either idea.

Somebody’s future (far like ‘30 or ‘31) first? That would make it right.

Fair trade looking at value, but I wouldn't do it for Denver. Simple reason - with MPJ at SF Nuggets won championship. Where ever LaVine goes his team becomes worst. Things he brings as player are not needed in Denver as much as things MPJ brings.
