Milwaukee - Memphis

Post#1 » by Godaddycurse » Fri Jun 27, 2025 3:47 am

Memphis trade: Anthony
Milwaukee trade: connaughton

Why for Memphis: save 3.6M
Why for Milwaukee: add some offense for cheap

Good one. At least 3.6m is something, better than nothing. The Bucks can have it all though for free.

You think Memphis is due compensation? I think the money savings is plenty.

Realistially speaking isnt Anthony 3rd/very deep on your depth chart anyways? might as well get a cheaper bench warmer?

I'd add 2 2nds and send PatC to WAS TPE.

This is along the lines of what I think would happen, I think Cole can be turned into a cheaper bad expiring, and then we pay to dump that smaller expiring.

I have different ideas for Cole and his contract. Not to mention he can actually play be of service to another team whereas Pat may not get another contract.

I understand the savings but we still would have to pay to get off Pat. Whereas currently we only need to pay to get off Konchar.

I think its easier to pay to get off pat than to get off konchar. Teams generally prefer eating 1 yr deal instead of multi year deals

I get that but point is I would still be paying to get off both Konchar and Pat. Cole has neutral value to the right situation.

Someone like Sacramento, Charlotte, or Detroit might take him into MLE without too much fuss
