Denver Trades: Zeke Nnaji, Dario Saric, 2026 1st rd pick swap, 2032 2nd rd pick
Washington Trades: Kelly Olynk
Why: Pretty simple trade, Denver gets a veteran Center they can use off the bench who can play make and space the floor. Washington gets a young big in Zeke Nnaji who has had flashes but ultimately hasn't been able to get a consistent role in Denver.

Sure for the Wizards.

Re: Denver/Washington(Olynk on the move)
The pick swap only works if the Nuggets are bottom of the league as Washington's own pick goes to the Knicks if they aren't bottom 8 . . . or can the Wiz trade for a late pick and swap it to Denver?
Nnaji is reasonably cheap but last year's numbers put him at the waiver wire level and he's got 2 more years plus a PO where Kelly O is expiring along with the rest of Washington's vets. I haven't seen Nnaji enough to have a handle on whether he's worth his contract.

Can you explain how this 1st swap would function?
Thanks

No thanks from Washington. The pick swap is totally worthless, so we are taking on Nnaji's contract for a very distant SRP. Nnaji is a 5-year vet at this point. He is no longer some sort of prospect with upside. He is just a guy. I'd rather have the roster spot to use on SRP's or castoffs from deep teams.

Yeah, I don't think this helps anyone.
I just don't see a way for Denver to get better other than to deal Porter Jr.
Porter Jr and Saric for Miles Bridges and Nurkic.
Porter Jr for Julius Randle.
Porter Jr and Strawther for Avdija, Williams, and Thybulle.
Porter Jr and Strawther for DeRozan and Monk
Something like that.

Denver definitely should do that but I don't see why the Wizards would.

The swap should be with this 1st --> Least / less favorable of OKC, HOU 5-30 and LAC (via OKC to PHL)
This actually adds the necessary value to the trade

Re: Denver/Washington(Olynk on the move)
Olynyk would be good for DEN, but WAS just traded for expiring deals…I don’t think they’re particularly attached to KO, but they wouldn’t move his expiring for non-expiring bodies without substantial draft compensation. Even as a useful vet elder statesman, Olynyk has better value to WAS than the incoming stuff.
