Sacramento - Dallas - Denver

Denver out: MPJ
Denver in: Klay, Marshall, JV

Sacramento trade: Derozan, JV
Sacramento receive: MPJ

Dallas trade: Klay, Marshall
Dallas receive: Derozan

Why for Denver: turn MPJ into 3 role players
Why for Sacramento: add a forward and more spacing
Why for Dallas: add a playmaker/shot creator

It would be wild for Nico "defense wins championships" Harrison to trade for DeRozan.

I'd just cut Dallas out and have the Kings deal DeRozan and Monk OR Murray to Denver for MPJ.

He's not what he used to be, but he's still a better defender than DeRozan.

I really like DeRozan, but I don't think he fits in Dallas. In the short-term he's a solid fill-in for Irving's offense, but once Irving is back, DeRozan doesn't have the 3-point shot to keep defenses honest like Klay does.

Cut Denver out. The Kings are starved of depth as it is so keep this the Sacramento-Dallas portion. I actually think Dallas should kick in something small there.

I mean, it's not the last trade possible for eternity is it? And I would suggest putting MPJ as your PF is waiving a white flag TBH.

I'm in on this deal. I like the fit of mpj next to sabonis, it would shift Keegan down to the sf spot where I think he will be more effective on the offensive end.

This still leaves us monk to trade for a point guard.

Love this on value, I'd even kick back a 2nd, but Mavs will have one + shooter in their 10 man rotation in DLo, and he's not on roster yet.

I really like the deal, eapecially for Denver since their dream deals is to split MPJ into 2-3 role players. Marshall has the edge they need, Klay does everything MPJ does except rebounding and Valanciunas even though not a great sub for Jokic(would prefer rim protector) is probably top 3 backup center in the league.

I would hesitate if im Dallas since i really think championship teams need guy like Marshal, but now they have logjam at forward position and they need creation untill Kyrie comes back so maybe they would go for it.

Good job!

It's a good deal.

I don't think Dallas take him in to their system. I don't see a role.

Both Flagg and Davis are to be high usage. Kyrie will be when back.

They better off with DLo.

Basic idea and value is OK for Denver, problem is all 3 players Denver recives are super subs, not one is starter, and Denver would need starter if dealing MPJ. That starter would be worst than MPJ if it is this king of 1 for 3 players deal, but still a starter.

I still think the best way for Denver to improve it's bench will be by trading 2031 1st, or 2032 2nd or 1st swaps...with expiring contracts of Saric/Pickett/Tyson, Nnajis's contract if posible, and adding Strawther/Watson if necesery.

See this little part that is bolded right. This is why Sacramento should stand back and say, wait, why am I facilitating Denver's "dream deal" (hang on Denver fans this is just what's been said), so why wouldn't I take the Dallas portion, for what they're getting which is DDR? Like if Denver is getting a "dream deal" for MPJ and it's Sacramento that is paying for it, why would the Kings agree to that, and then on top of that, add the "top 3 backup center in the league"?

I like it for Denver and Sac. But Dallas needs all the shooting it can get around its 2 big line up. And Klay gives them that better than Derozan. Monk would probably be a better fit for them

I like this deal, and I very rarely like deals involving Denver on this board.

Good job, OP.
