GSW - SAC (LaVine to GSW)

Post#1 » by bpcox05 » Sun Jun 29, 2025 4:02 pm

-----------------------------

GSW Gets: Zach LaVine
GSW Gives: Jonathan Kuminga (S&T $26 mil/year) & Moses Moody
Why for GSW? The Warriors add another star talent to pair with Curry, Butler, & Green in an attempt to go all-in and win a championship.

PG - Curry / Podziemski
SG - LaVine / Hield / Richard
SF - Butler / Toohey
PF - Green/ Santos
C - Jackson-Davis / Post

-----------------------------

SAC Gets: Jonathan Kuminga (S&T $26 mil/year) & Moses Moody
SAC Gives: Zach LaVine
Why for SAC? The Kings help clear their log jam at SG while taking a swing on Kuminga's upside. They also get a solid, young 3&D wing to give them another defender around Sabonis.

PG - Monk / Carter
SG - Ellis / Moody / Davis
SF - Murray / DeRozan / Clifford
PF - Kuminga / Raynaud
C - Sabonis / Valanciunas / Jones

Absolutely not. Would not take Lavine for free even if it were possible.

Doesn’t work with BYC for Kuminga I believe, and wouldn’t do it if it could. The days of having three contracts the size of Steph, Jimmy and LaVine’s are over. Can’t make a team work with that anymore

Kuminga’s outgoing salary in a sign and trade only counts as half
