Pat 9.4 mil & up to 7.2 million in cash.
Nets trade TPE/Protected second that never conveys.
Bucks get much needed breathing room against the tax line.
Nets get help getting to the salary floor while spending only 2.2 million. Pat might also take a buyout(at a lower number) since he should be able get a vet min deal somewhere.

Bucks are going to have to give more than just cash. Nets can get to the salary floor in a bunch of ways that don't involve just doing the Bucks a favor.

Sure but those options also entitle paying real money. This almost real dollars neutral.

There is a limit to how much cash you can take in, so its not as additive as you believe it to be. Other teams likely willing to include cash and assets in a salary dump, but also a New York team under the salary cap is likely to prefer assets to money savings, no?

Agree...based on draft night and apparent willingness to keep kicking the can down the road, I expect BRK to come out of the summer with a ton of picks and mediocre players with not-too-long deals.

So are the Bucks willing to pay draft compensation for this move? Pat Connaughton by himself doesn't hold any value.

If nets were desperate to get to salary floor then maybe? But that would be an end of offseason kind of move
Probably easier to buy couple 2nds with those cash to dump pat C with

Which 1st round pick would MIL be giving the Nets to help them save MIL's franchise?

Give Brooklyn a future 1st, and we would think about it. 10mil in capspace is worth more than cash considerations in this market.
