Solid signing but not the type of free agency deal I’m looking for within the first few hours of free agency.

Near as I can tell it doesn't really impact anything else they might do, assuming they wait to actually sign it until after other potential moves are made.

Could be totally wrong about that.

You're absolutely right- Pistons fans hoped for more from the first reported move. We've got 3.9 3 pointers per game to replace.

Unless it’s some crazy figures , quite hard to do bad 2 years deal so can’t really blame pistons when they went for continuity on a backup role.

It's only one year guaranteed. The deal itself is fine.

There better be more though.

It's too small to really matter in the grand scheme of things, but this is a terrible deal. He should be a minimum guy. Again, too small to really matter but terrible GMing to give this deal IMO.

Glad to see BBall getting paid. Feels low for a guy the sport was named after.

Agree 100%. He wasn't certain to get a roster spot anywhere.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
