Happy for NAW, he is a good dude. Glad that his agent hooked him up with a great deal.

Seems bigger then the MLE but it’s been a long day.

I love what ATL has done.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world...
... NO, YOU MOVE."
... NO, YOU MOVE."

I get rockets won the offseason, but Hawks are a clear #2. Great moves every step of the way

Very happy with this. Create a good sized TPE, get a Second Round Draft Pick, and get cash for nothing outside of signing paperwork and doing NAW a favour on the way out, which he deserves.

Hoping so, Wolves could use a 2nd or 2. TPE probably doesn't matter as much with us so strapped against the tax.

Good dealing all the way around.
I also like what the Hawks have been doing this summer.

It would usually be Minny paying for the TPE. But I guess it depends on if the Hawks want to keep their MLE in tact and use the big TPE here, and in that case then you might get a bad 2nd here.
edit... and there you go 2027 cle 2nd.

Re: (Shams) NAW to Hawks
Yeah i can get down with this thats a more than fair contract for NAW. Man the defense on the court with Dyson and Naw is gonna be a beautiful thing to see. Im so proud of the Hawks so far this offseason we are FINALLY doing what everyone has asked for awhile now putting length, defense, and shooting around trae. It took us awhile to get here but by god it's finally happening one step at a time.

Hawks are just showing off at this point. Great offseason for them.

Fam i know alot of people wanted a new POBO after that big ole search we did. But Onsi who took over for Landry has been absolutely dominating this offseason and COOKING since he took over. I don't see how the man hasn't proven enough to just give him the job outright at this point.

Re: (Shams) NAW to Hawks
Perfect fitting addition for them. The real question will be if they look good but not great, will they be aggressive to go get another difference maker because it still feels like they lack that.

I think they're holding out to see if he's able to make the GOAT trade for Anfernee Simons. That'll cement things for him.
