Hardcapped at the 2nd Apron, but worth it IMO

Knicks should have a much better bench this season.

Not the perfect fit, but the Knicks needed to add best player available, preferably one with some size, for the tax mid level. While I had dreams of signing Clint Capela, this was a more realistic outcome. Not to mention, Jordan Clarkson, even with his flaws and at his age, is an upgrade over Cam Payne.

I'd love to keep Precious around as Mitch insurance, and I'm not sure how you work the starting lineup, but if your bench is Clarkson/McBride/Hart/Yabusele/Robinson it seems pretty good.

Starting lineup still has Brunson/Bridges/Anunoby/Towns. Would love a minutes eating big to round out the lineup and make the team 10 deep.

Ah I was kind of hoping he'd come back to Boston for the bridge year there would be lots of time for him, but good for him.

Nice get for the Knicks.

Kind of a double edged sword from a Warriors perspective - it eliminates a contender for Horford, but also takes one of our better fallback options off the table.

Would mind lakers trying to get him at that price. Versatile player could fit many lineups.

I don't blame him for taking his time - it's his life and it's a big decision. But I am getting nervous about what we do if Al goes somewhere else.

Ayton (blech) has got to be plan B and then plan C gets bleak pretty fast (Jaxson Hayes? Larry Nance Jr.? Thomas Bryant?)

You're right of course, but he also needs to realize how he's impacting the mental health of good people like you and me

Maybe I was drinking too much Yabusele kool-aid but I'm really high on his archetype for a regular season minutes eater.

I thought he'd get full MLE. Think the Knicks got a steal here. Though on 2 years they might have an issue keeping him again like they did with Hartenstein.

I think, as we have seen this off-season, MLE needs to be a surefire post-season rotation piece (Nickeil Alexander-Walker, for example).

Yabusele hasn't proven that.

Reasonable, but I think there's reason to believe he can be.

There is a reason, which I think is why he isn't a minimum player and a taxMLE guy.

Really happy with the FO’s work in FA so far.

I would be too. Clarkson and Yabu are good depth pieces, and honestly I like Mike Brown as a HC option for them

Brunson/Bridges/OG/KAT/Robinson with Clarkson, McBride, Hart, Yabu off the bench is a really solid 9 man rotation

Yabu is fun as hell and I will miss watching him. I do think some of the teams wanting him would have been poor fits, but like him in NY.

I really disliked the lineups with him at 5 unless you have the roster to just try to outscore people. Much better passer than you might expect.
