Why for the Pistons: Add Monk, who is one of their goals, trade Stewart for Valanciunas (who has a better contract), sell Fontecchio who is out of the draft, add experience in DDR (last year they had experience in THJ and Bealsey)

Why for the Kings: Add Schoroder, who is their goal, DDR is out of the draft, Stewart and Ivey have more years to contribute to the improvement of the team.

Unlike the kings, the pistons seem to have turned the corner in terms of roster construction. Absolutely no interest in trading away promising young talent for a 35 yr old SG that doesn't compliment Cade.
