Title is self-explanatory; Milwaukee is clearly all-in on keeping Giannis after the Turner deal/Dame stretch waive. They've obviously got the 4 and 5 spots covered between Giannis, Turner, and Portis, but 1-3 look pretty dire.

Who is the best player they could conceivably get for the assets they have left?

My first thought is Kuzma/some collection of swaps and/or "worst of" picks for Demar DeRozan

Ayo/Williams for Kuzma?

I'd do that and then keep looking to flip Williams/some collection of picks for another guy. I like Ayo (probably more than 99% of non-Bulls fans) but he's more of a rotation piece than a true needle mover.

Dillon Brooks and Grayson Allen would be good additions. They could try to sign Brogdon OR Westbrook and Thomas Bryant.

They can't get both Brooks and Allen.

It was mentioned in the main thread but I don't hate the idea of them flipping Kuzma and maybe some minor assets for Simons. Saves Boston some money this year and gives them a real tank commander so they can come back in 2026-27 with Tatum, Brown, White, and AJ Dybantsa

Is Phoenix still over the 2nd apron? I also didn't check this on a trade checker, but I thought Kuzma and Pat were ~$33M and Brooks and Allen were ~$37M

Doesn't Milwaukee now have access to the salary cap room exception?

Yes - but Boston would need to find a home for Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma + PatC for Simons would work.

Another idea I had is if Pheonix is looking to get off the last 2 years of Royce O'Neale and Grayson Allen could a 3 team trade work with Allen/O'Neale ending up in Milwaukee, Kuz in Pheonix and a 3rd team takes on PatC with a 2nd.

Bucks would roll out Green/Allen/O'Neale/Giannis/Turner

Might not be quite the fit, but make the Cam/MPJ trade into a 3-teamer where Kuzma and Connaughton go to Brooklyn for MPJ?
