Hornets get: Antony Davis & klay Thompson + 2029 First Round Pick & 2031 First Round Pick.

Mavs get: Lamelo Ball & Miles Bridges

Why for Hornets? move on from melo and bring in Davis to make a playoff run plus pick up 2 future first rounders. we also already own the mavs first in 2027 aswell.

Why For Mavs? go for it now Lemelo and cooper would be fun to watch also Kyrie when gets back.


Sexton takes over as starting pg for the hornets and u have Davis & Kalkbrenner in the paint.

Kalkbrenner/Moussa/Plum

Would need to go out and sign a backup pg to backup sexton and a few dept peices but I love the starting lineup.

Picks are going the wrong way

I have AD worth more than Lamelo, so dont see this working out.

Yeah, I don’t think I’d be happy to see Ball for AD happen without the picks.. I’d rather get picks for AD and tank than get Ball and tank.

But for Charlotte.. You want add AD with Miller/Ball or you don’t get AD imo. It’s one thing to rush the young “stars” and hope they develop better in a winning atmosphere.

Obviously, if Dallas does the OP, CLT should do it and trade AD themselves..

Younger isnt everything. AD is a top 10 player while Lamelo hasnt been able to lead his team to the playoffs in a very weak east. Nobody is gonna pay his price for him

We're 6 months removed from seeing what Fox went for. Is Lamelo more valuable than Fox? I dont believe so, but even if he is, its not signficant

Wow. That is a crazy optimistic take on Ball's value. You have Dallas paying more for him than they got for Luka. Think about if that makes sense to you.

But also hard pass as Dallas. Value is terrible, direction is terrible, didn't even make Dallas more healthy than AD and oh yeah Dallas is the last team who take on a guy like Bridges from a PR standpoint. No real way to salvage this one I'm afraid.

Lamelo misses more games than AD, (Bridges has no value) and AD is a much better player (light years) add 3 FRP for the Mavs and maybe you have something

Yes, the Mavs overpaid. I don't think the Mavs need Miles Bridges with Cooper Flagg. I would do AD for Lamelo not because of value but position and skillset. Flagg is better suit as a 4. And Ball's elite ball handling, solid 3 balls and playmaking. This solved some issues and with better spacing. Health and chemistry are concerns, though. Kyrie seems to enjoy playing with AD. And AD does not seem comfortable playing alongside Flagg. I consider the welcome message to Flagg from AD implying something from AD perspective. If the big lineup doesn't work, trade AD now.

I should say both AD and PJ are uncomfortable with Cooper Flagg. This is why PJ has yet to agree to term and AD send warning welcome message

AD says he'll come back to Flagg for the US training camp practice game.
