If saric is involved, would this have to be a 4 team trade to include Denver?

My thoughts as well. I don't see why Denver would care.

Monk doesn’t make sense on our roster as constructed.
Mind you I’m biased against inefficient guards who don’t play defense.

He runs a podcast and does appear to talk to journalists.
He’s gotten stuff wrong before but he DID say on the podcast yesterday that a possible sign and trade was still alive. This is before it was reported.
So make of that what you will.

Requires more “touches” with other involved teams. Either Denver would need to be compensated, or they’d have to pay actual cash, draft rights, or draft picks to help others out and make this a multi team.

If the Kings give Monk for Schroder instead of the TPE then they must have something else lined up for that specific TPE, which I highly doubt, or they're going for Kuminga.
Think LTB is going off the Matt George rumors? which does indeed put the JV/Saric swap into it. So...
Kings out ($34m Roughly): Monk, Carter, JV, 2 2nds
Kings in ($37.5m Roughly): Kuminga, Schroder
Det Out ($14.3m Roughly): Schroder
Det In ($18.8m Roughly): Monk
GS Out ($23.2m Roughly): Kuminga
GS In ($10.5m Roughly): Carter, Saric, 2 2nds
Den Out ($5.4m Roughly): Saric
Den In ($10.4m Roughly): JV
Wouldn't GSW need to be getting more $$$ here?
If I'm a betting man Naji gets put in this to GSW for a 1st from the Kings to GSW instead of the 2 x 2nds.

I still like Monk in Detroit. I think hes better on ball than levert. And this gives Detroit a ton of injury options, and trade options at the deadline.
Cade - Ivey - Auser - Tobias - Duren
Monk - Levert - Robinson - Holland - Stewart
Detroit would have one of the best benches in the league

Kumingas outgoing has to be x2 of the incoming. So, if he gets a 20M extension, gsw can only bring back 10M.

Oh. Ok. Thanks. So it doesn't need the trimmings of what I said...carry on everyone. Don't mind me.

FWIW I do not think there is a worse fit in Sacramento as constituted than Kuminga, but it might signal they have a deal for DeRozan in place and that could make the fit a bit better? But the defense with Schroder-LaVine-Murray-Kuminga-Sabonis would be so bad...maybe historically bad. Maybe worse than the Jazz, Pelicans, and Hornets are set up to be.

If it means the Kings get rid of DDR you sign Kuminga to a max contract. Literally. Honestly. Sign me up. To get that basketball terrorist off the Kings roster adds multiple Ws and no that isn't going to be offset by Kuminga. And YES. He (DDR) is worth how much anyone that believes he is a winning basketball player believes him to be.

I don't watch a lot of Kings games but does Devin Carter really need to be in this trade? Wasn't he only drafted last year (in the lottery)? Was he that bad?
Seems like a lot to give up who is an average player, who has only given flashes of being good.

Thats a huge improvement defensively to what we ended last year with lol. Schorder/Kuminga are far better defenders than Derozan/Monk.
As for the fit, as I said, I need to remind myself Perry just took over a month ago. LaVine, Derozan, Monk are not part of the long term plans. Schroder is clearly a stop gap.
Keon-Keegan-Kuminga-Sabonis
Those 4 fit great
Add in a bench of Schroder, Nique, Maxime. I think those are the 7 players they see right now.
As for even the current fit. I don't see how Kuminga agrees to come to Sac for a bench role. They clearly want to start him in the front court. I think this definitely signals a Derozan move.

They're giving him up as the "value" I guess. The Warriors still put value on Kuminga, despite what fans say. He's still restricted so you need to give up value.
I'm guessing Perry has come into Sacramento and Carter isn't a guy that he drafted and doesn't really see long term so he can sell him as a lottery pick (some had him much higher than he went) for a young guy that hasn't been given the opportunity to grow in such a vet laden environment.
Oh. He wasn't bad at all either, he had shoulder injury at draft time which hurt his stock, he spent 1/2 season out and came in and, as I guess is probably in his case, certainly didn't dominate, but did show some really good signs. Ultimately though, he is NEVER, nor was he EVER, going to be more than a really good role player. Think Josh Hart with the slowest release on a jumpshot in the NBA.

I don’t get it from Detroit’s end….
How are we supposed to play Cade, Monk, Ivey, LeVert, Ausar, Holland and Robinson? Cade plays 36 minutes. That leaves 108 minutes at guard and smaller wing for the other 6 dudes. You add up what they’re used to playing and you get like 160. And no, none of those guys can play legit PF. Ausar can get by, but that’s an absolute waste of his on-ball defense.
Further, Monk has two additional years at 20m per. Yuck, man.
Now if we follow it up with trading one of those guys for a good big, I’m on board.

Well.. Cade and Auser aren't going anywhere. Robinson, Levert, Monk all recent additions. Maybe an Ivey replacement before they have to make a decision paying him?>

I have no problem trading Ivey, but trading him right now doesn’t make sense with his value depressed due to injury. If some other GM loves him and pays full price, sure.
Which leaves Holland. And if we trade Ron before he gets a real chance I’m going to be REALLY FLIPPIN MAD. He’s gonna be really, really good in a couple years, and he’s Detroit Basketball to his core.
Ideally, we immediately reroute Monk. We don’t need him. If we aren’t trading him, I’d pass on the S&T for Schroder entirely and stay out of this.
