Dont think charlotte is interested in trading bridges or a 1st for vuc, let alone both

Are they trading wiggins? Because I can't see a scenario where the guy who beat up his sister and law (essentially, not officially) in front of his nephews would be a welcomed addition to the lockerroom.

Offer for Vuc is Josh Green + Josh Okogie + 2031 Bucks 2nd + 2032 Bucks 2nd.
Bulls get wings to go with Okoro.

i'd probably say 4 2nds is fair (2 for Vuc, 2 for offloading Green)
Bridges for Vuc just moves our disaster position from C to PF. Salaun would have to start the first month of the season due to a complete lack of other PFs, and that would kill the entire season until Grant gets back.

Yeah, I'd either add 2 more 2nd round picks or just cough up the 1st acquired from Phoenix for helping them out with Nurkic.
It's an overpay for Vuc but Hornets aren't bidding against themselves. Teams are competing for solutions at the center position.
The stuff with Bridges is getting tired on this board.
The fans who want him drop him in deals knowing other fans will jump out to say he's negative value and worthless. By now it's predictable but that won't stop them from shamelessly dropping his name in there.

You said it all for me. DO NOT WANT!

The only way to get Vucevic to CHA is straight up for Bridges. The Hornets cut off Bridges 2nd year at $22M , get a center for one year pushing back their decision on a permanent solution. Sending the Bulls multiple lower paid players they have no use for is not the CHI path to moving on from Vucevic or SRP's they have historically not cared about

We are out on Vuc then.
Would take Z. Collins for Green + Connaughton. Again, include 2nd round picks.

I didn't know Wiggins was involved with that stuff-never mind

No, that's Bridges. He's saying that unless Miami suddenly loses Wiggins for nothing, Miami wouldn't be desperate enough to take someone like Bridges.

I could see a scenario where the Hornets go after Kuminga if a Bridges/Vuc trade happened, but it wouldn't happen under my watch, he wants (and appears likely to get) a good $10M more than I'd offer.

Vuc isn't even a good fit for Charlotte. We need a defensive minded, switchable center that can protect the rim to a decent level to compensate for our guards being poor defensively.

i understand Bridges bad value but I'm not paying a first to get rid of him for an expiring old centre who doesn't play defense.
for all his warts, Bridges plays his ass off and works hard on the court. by all appearances his crappy personal life has not poisoned the locker room.

Charlotte could offer Josh Green and Nick Smith Jr. + a second or two for Vuc. He's an expiring contract and 34 on a team stuck in no man's land so grabbing a young prospect going into year 3 that's cost controlled is a good return.

Vuc is not returning an expiring and a 1st, he is what he is

It's a weak first, and this is Char moving on from Bridges and adding a starting center. Vuc is what he is, but at least he'll play nightly and produce. They also save $ next year
Miami adds talent, and hope their culture can keep Bridges in line. He could be an awesome 6th man for the Heat
Chi is dumping Vuc here, and eating a bad deal

No, let him be awesome somewhere else.
