This is a simple trade that could benefit both teams.
Lakers get Haywood Highsmith and 2027 2nd rd pick.
Heat get Dalton Knecht
Why? Lakers get a quality 3 and D player. He could help replace a lot of the lost in DFS. He has shot close to 40% on 3’s and would fit perfectly with Luka and LeBron. It also allows them to acquire a relatively low cost option that does not involve spending their 2031 FRP. Lakers also get the 2027 OKC 2nd rd pick in this deal as well.
Heat take a flier on Knecht and add additional shooting to a team that still needs more even after the addition of Norman Powell. Might seem like a sell low on Knecht but recent reports place a value closer to a 2nd rd pick. Knecht fits the Heat going younger timeline.

Re: Lakers/Heat- No Wiggins
This board is a lot higher on Highsmith than I am, but even accounting for that, I have to imagine it takes more than a second to get the Lakers to give up on Knecht. The Lakers are asset poor.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

This is pretty bad for the Lakers. They lose a lot of cheap control over a player with a much higher ceiling than Highsmith.
I think if this were the AD/LeBron Lakers of 2023, they would do this deal. Knecht is the type of player who can theoretically help now and during the bulk of Luka's prime.

Is there not already trade talks that's going on for real, between the two teams?
I think Lakers want Wiggins.

Re: Lakers/Heat- No Wiggins
I'm not very high on Knecht, so while I recognize it's good value, I'm not a fan.
