Utah clears cap space (CHI, BRK)

UTA: Kyle Anderson
CHI: Jevon Carter, 2028 CHI 2nd
Chicago gets the better, more useful player. Utah drops a bit of salary (2.4 million) and gets a 2nd.
UTA: Kevin Love, 2027 LAC 2nd, 2028 CHI 2nd, cash
BRK: fake 2nd
Brooklyn uses the last of their capspace to get some future 2nds and the cash to pay Kevin Love. Utah drops 4.1 million.
After waiving 4 million in cap holds, Jaden Springer, and KJ Martin this would leave Utah with about 26 million in cap space. They could then go after Grimes, who I like quite a bit. We could probably use a 2nd or two to also dump Svi's 3.7 million if we needed a bit more room. We could also stretch Nurkic and Carter to open another 13ish and have about 42 million in space which is maybe enough to get both Giddey and Grimes. Not sure we will or should go the cap space route, but I think there is a realistic path to opening space to force teams to make decisions on their RFAs and maybe steal Grimes from Philly.
