Simple swap, I think the salaries are similar they can make it work.

Warriors rationale: PG offers better spacing, playmaking, seems like a better natural fit with classic Warriors ball.

Sixers rationale: Butler plays bigger than his size, plays well when motivated, he and Embiid seem to be on good terms. Butler and Edgecomb would be a fun duo, i can see their basketball personalities matching.

Jimmy Butler is one of the best playmakers in the league. In my estimation much better than PG13 who is no slouch himself.
Also Philly and Butler have already given it a go once. It didn't work.

Sixers fans can and should carry on the hope that PG has a bounce back year. The rest of the league should not factor that hope into their valuation of him.

Warriors are not even entertaining doing this swap without significant compensation. Paul George based on last season looked washed. While Jimmy Butler is overpaid,he's still a very good player.

Butler and BBrown and Simmons have given it a go, that's what didn't work. Morey + Nurse is sans Simmons is different.

As for GS, Butler isn't needed. They have Green doing most of the playmaking anyway, and PG offers them great spacing, size and decent enough defense. It's worth considering, I think.
