LAL out: Vincent, Knecht
LAL in: Allen
Boston out: Simons
Boston in: ONeale
Phoenix put: Allen, Oneale
Phoenix in: Simons, BRK future 2nd(s)
Brooklyn out: future 2nd(s)
Brooklyn in: Vincent, Knecht
Why for Boston: save money
Why for LAL: add a sniper next to luka/lebron
Why for Brooklyn: sell remainder of capspace for a prospect
Why for Phoenix: clear long term salary and add a PG

I don't think PHX has room for another scoring guard.

Lakers pass. Knecht is cheaper and Allen doesn’t provide much defensive boost to justify losing Vincent (while he’s not that good, would rather take a chance he’ll have a contract year revival and be a playable rotational guard).

Seem like suns and lakers could just make the deal directly.

Underrating Allen defense or overrating Gabe impact. Can find somebody in free agency to provide what Gabe does.

Possibly, but i dont feel using up one of the few available trade chips in Knecht is worth whatever marginal upgrade getting Allen provides. Also due to being capped out, Vincent's expiring needs to be used strategically as well. Just checked Allen's current deal, 3yr/54mil remaining, 3rd year PO, in the current 2nd apron era, rather just roll the dice on Knecht hopefully becoming a better player and having 3 cheap years to behind out.

I don't believe Knecht has value, nor do I believe that the Nets would have any interest.

I like it, I don't think BK owes 2nds, but owed, LAL and BOS can pitch in one each.

That’s some serious salary relief for Phoenix that I think the lakers need value here.
