Dal-Sac-Orl: Not the usual players

May the dueling chants echo all around the Mavs' home games until either, or both are done: "Fire Nico...Trade AD"
Dallas Gets: Jalen Suggs, Keon Ellis, Goga, 2026 Sac FRP, 2027 Least favorable FRP Sac/SA , Two Orl Seconds
Sac gets: Anthony Davis, Jaden Hardy
Orl gets: Domantas Sabonis
Dallas embraces the youth movement and gets Suggs who should fit seamlessly with Kyrie and Flagg, and even Klay temporarily. They continue to embrace the defense movement even after hopefully firing Nico
Sacramento gets AD who will anchor their defense given Lavine DDR Mink and Schroeder aren't strong there.
Orl solves their starting center problem and rely on Black and Tyus as lead point. Sabonis fits well with his offensive progress and their elite D can cover him there

Interesting deal for sure, but I don't think ORL can financially take Domas, also, they have enough interior scoring.
I'd lookd for other team to take Sabonis.

I have sabonis as worth more than davis. Kings shouldn't be including any incentive, value should be coming to the kings.
Davis rarely plays more than 60 games in a season, only 2 times since 2018. Also sabonis is on the better contract and he is 3 years younger.

This is crazy. Kings trade Domas who is younger, cheaper, and more durable than AD, along with Keon and draft picks? Never going to happen.

I can understand the Sabonis is more durable and younger than AD, not opinion, that's fact.
But Sabonis more valuable where Sac should be getting incentive for a swap, that's ludicrous, and not the rapper.

This is DOA as far as the kings are concerned. Just because the mavs overpaid for davis doesn't mean the kings should.

Wrong direction for sac. We aren't a contender with Davis, I have zero interest attaching any picks or young players for an older injury prone player.

Horrible for Sac. Not redeemable in any way.

AD would fit in well anywhere. Sac doesn't have another center, so they would need a center to pair with him.
Roll it backwards though... AD to ORL
Wagners+JI to SAC
Sabonis to Dallas

Orl wouldn't trade Franz and Dallas would just easily cut Sac out

IDK. I think that AD would make the Magic a legit finals contender next season whereas Wagner still has a bit of "what does he provide when he is not scoring" issue.
Also, just from a value POV, if Kings were stealing value, they could always include more to balance the deal.

So you want Sac to pony up youth and picks and one of the most durable bigs in the league who OWNS AD for a glass guy who is nothing but fools gold that Dallas gave up their perennial MVP candidate for???
No thanks.

The only team stealing value in the original trade is Orlando. The kings are hemorrhaging value in that trade. AD doesn't have this value.

I don’t think Sac does the OP.
I do think they’d pony up picks to pair Sabonis/AD

Davis is still at least a tier above Sabonis when he's on the court, but yeah age/injury makes this a terrible deal for Sac. Davis should be for a contender, not a team like the Kings that honestly needs a full rebuild.
I do think the Kings should try to trade Sabonis, though I think he is overpaid and won't yield what a lot of Sac fans think he is worth.

ORL gets: AD, Martin, Powell, OMax, Hardy
DAL gets: Suggs, Isaac, Black, Howard
OR
LAL gets: AD, Klay, Powell, OMax, Hardy
DAL gets: Lebron, Kleber, Vincent, Knecht
Cut Sactown out

Franz, by all the metrics, was a great defender. He was our guy after Suggs went down. You might say that about Paolo, but not Franz.

I will take that into account going forward.

I think the Kings should trade Sabonis, but they definitely shouldn't be adding picks or young players to him to do it. They should have the opposite goal in mind. Their roster is imbalanced in a way that isn't fixable with a single trade. That roster is a hot mess with Sabonis. It would be a hot mess with AD.

Low realism throw back... Eddy, Clarke, KCP, and a vet min match AD..
Eddy flipped for the best asset he can return, Memphis adds the 2026 Phoenix first and another future first? Would really love to get Coward there but think Memphis should want to pay in a different way..
Sac could also offer a volume based package with Demar/Monk as the salary for AD and leave themselves starting Sabonis, AD, Murray, LaVine, Dennis..
