Coby to Denver

To Chicago
Zeke Nnaji
Julian Strawther
Dayron Holmes
To Denver
Coby White
The Bulls cash in on White while his contract is cheap. Strawther showed promise and Holmes can be a centre of the future
The nuggets go from terrible supporting cast to one of the deepest teams in the league. White is a perfect 6th man and Murray insurance.
This makes them 9 deep in the playoffs
Murray/Braun/Johnson/gordon/Jokic
White/hardaway/Brown/watson/valanciunas

Depending what happens with Jonas, Denver might could use the new TPE instead of Nnaji.. Would look a lot better though Chicago still might say no?

Agree.
I like the direction for Denver, and the fit of Coby White in Denver, but the Nuggets would have to pony up something of value to entice Chicago

I think we have seen what Simons/Sexton went for and are basically assigning similar value to Coby White. While his skillset is similar to those players, I feel he can actually be true 3rd or atleast a 4th option unlike those guys and can a huge impact on winning basketball. I think his value is right in-between Desmond Bane(4 1st round picks and a bad contract), and Colin Sexton/Anfernee Simons(viewed as neutral if not slightly negative). Zeke Nnaji is negative on his contract, Juliuan Strawther is maybe worth a couple of 2nd round picks, and I can't assign much value to Holmes until he can stay healthy, so this package a neutral value package with everything added in, which doesn't feel right for Coby White's value.

That's trade machine great. But it's not cashing in.
The Bulls have gone all in with Buzelis, Essengue and Olbrich, they willingly traded for Okoro and still have Williams and Phillips. So what in the heck are they going to do with Nnaji, and Holmes and why is Strawther even on par with anybody they have? Honestly, do you even look at a roster to see what's there after your trade?

Denver needs Holmes and Strawther more than Coby White

In that case TPE would go to backup C

Cosigned. Very far short from the Bulls perspective.

No reason for Chi to take 3 far lesser players

I get why Chicago wouldn't like it. Also don't like it for Denver. It's a rental of White as they almost certainly won't pay him next year. Holmes and Strawther have some potential, especially Holmes who was a darling pick before getting hurt. Both cheap contracts that provide future depth.
Denver would be better off trying to sign Brogdon or Morris if they felt the need to add a reserve pg. I'm just not seeing the minutes/touches for White, and on a Jokic/Murray centric team, I'd rather those extra minutes go to Brown, Braun, and THJ.
Jokic(34)
Johnson (32)
Murray (32)
Braun (32)
Gordon (30)
JVal (14)
Brown (20)
THJ (18)
Watson (18)
This is already reducing a bunch of the key players minutes. And keeping strawther who was good in the regular season out of the rotation.

From a talent perspective Denver, clearly wins. I think this I do this even knowing the Denver can't pay Coby in the following off season and this is a one year rental at best.
The biggest problem is Denver can't afford to pay both Coby and Braun next year.I prefer Braun as he is the more efficient scorer, better rebounder and defender. Braun is also more suites to play backup minutes at the SF.
