Centers remaining besides Horford?

Is Horford really the best FA C left on the market? He’s ancient and supposedly contemplating retirement as an option.
Boston and Golden State have no starting caliber centers on the roster. Charlotte has only Nurkic.
Crazy to think the C market has changed so much so quickly. Does Vucevic have actual trade value now? Maybe Orlando can get out of Isaac’s or Carter’s contracts via trade?

Charlotte doesn't even have Nurkic, and Kalkbrenner isn't ready yet despite him showing good instincts, he is just so weak. It makes no sense what we are doing at that position, Diabate is going to have to put in a herculean effort this offseason to improve offensively as it currently stands

Richaun Holmes just got waived. Thomas Bryant is still out there. Chris Boucher.
But yeah. It’s thinning out. Even then, I think that teams would rather one of these or an undrafted or GLeague guy they like for a vet minimum, non gtd, rather than make a large move that might require moving a couple rotation guys just to salary match.
If you’re not getting a guy you love, why not go cheap?

Bassey has played well for Boston summer league team but is technically still available. I believe Christian Koloko is still available but he's restricted. Drummond can be had from Philly for anything

Yeah Drummond should be a target. He’s only 31 and probably the best combo of playable/affordable who is likely available.

Orlando has WCJ, Bitazde, Wagner and Isaac.
I think WCJ/Isaac are safe…for now. Wagner has a no trade clause.
Leaving Goga Bitazde, I can see Orlando trying to package Jett Howard’s $5.5M expiring combining for $13.8M total for additional bench scoring.
Hauser/Tillman works
Hield/TJD works
However, in any trade involving Goga Orlando needs a cheap replacement in return.

Nurkic could probably be had from the Jazz if anyone thought he was worth anything

Trey Lyles, Precious Achiuwa, Charles Bassey, Dominic Barlow all rotation worthy bigs I would say.

Trade wise, if Dallas could get a starting caliber 2g or bigger point guard, Gafford could be had

The Pacers backups from last year - Thomas Bryant and Tony Bradley - are both out there. Bryant showed up in the playoffs pretty well and had some genuinely important moments. He is a free agent and will find a contract somewhere. Bradley was uhhh there? Pacers have a team option that I'm pretty sure they're turning down.

Pacers already picked up the option on Bradley. But he is non guaranteed until 1/10. Could be waived at any point, or traded at any point.
