LAC along with Denver are doing something to put themselves in tier 2 out West. Granted for LA with the exception of Collins its been older, past their prime guys which I've never been too keen on, but still a solid offseason for them.

Can't argue with that, especially assuming it's a vet min deal.

They had no ball handler behind Harden in the PO last year, now they have 2, I have them as 2nd best team in the west.

Clippers have done a solid job this off-season.

If Kawhi is healthy they can beat anyone.

If their strong depth leads to a healthy playoff run from Zu/Leonard/Beal/Harden, with a fresh Brook/CP against your second unit, it’s a really tough out for any team imo. I know that’s leaving off 5 other good players, but yeah.

The top talent in the West is why I had hoped Dallas would move AD and take the one year tank, keep Kyrie/PJ since you lucked into Flagg... Just feels like the best case scenario is 7th seed here…

End sad rant. Good signing for Clips and good for CP to be where he wants in a low pressure/minute role.

They are a tough matchup for them, 48 minutes of Zubac/BroLo.

Clippers bench can compete with a lot of starters in the league. Which makes perfect sense because their starters are older and injury prone, so they’re almost admitting to their obvious shortcomings however being extremely proactive in ensuring even with an injury that they have the depth to make up for it.

Chess not checkers. I’m a fan.

I mean let's not get carried away. CP3/Bogdan/DJJ/Batum/BroLo would be the worst starting 5 in the league by a decent margin

I guess he dropped his demand to start.

Kawhi was healthy for the playoffs last season and the Clippers were not a contender. Not sure they are this season either, but they are definitely more complete as a team with many viable options at each position. They will definitely be playoff bound, even with injuries.

The Clippers are not looking to win a ring with Kawhi. He is too old, and the team does not have the roster to get the job done. The mission is to prevent OKC from getting three more top picks via swaps. The mission is to reset with legitimate talent in 2027 when Giannis / Jokic / Curry / AD / Luca are all free agents and the Clippers have around $100M in capspace while building a franchise that the top players actually want to play for.
