Cavs and Blazers

Cavs get: Deni Avdija, Toumani Camara and Jerami Grant
Blazers get: Donovan Mitchell
Why?
Cavs do it to add wings with size. Mobley needs to be our primary offensive player.
Blazers add a superstar for a reasonable price.

Unlikely Portland would care to empty out their front court

Pass for POR.
Mitchell is a fine player but this is not the right move

The Cavs aren't breaking up the core this summer. If they have another disappointing postseason, big changes will come next summer.
Also, as much as I like Mobley, he isn't presently a No. 1 option on offense.

Don't think either team wants to do this.

This makes no sense for Portland in terms of roster construction. I can’t fathom what our starting lineup is even supposed to be after this. Arguably our 5 best players would all be guards and any true forwards on the team are 3rd stringers and 2-way contract players. Any attempt to trade for Mitchell would be to pair him with our defensive forwards.

Given where Portland is in their rebuild it doesn't make much sense for them.

Cleveland has no business trading an All-NBA player for lesser pieces. Especially while offering a "reasonable price".
Portland has no business trading for an All-NBA player with young pieces. Their roster doesn't fit Mitchell's timeline.
