Cavs! Giving everyone their most likely position only.
PG: Darius Garland/Lonzo Ball (SG/SF)/Craig Porter Jr.
SG: Donovan Mitchell(PG)/Sam Merrill/Tyrese Proctor(PG)
SF: Max Strus(SG)/De'Andre Hunter(PF)/Jaylon Tyson(SG/PF)/Luke Travers (PF)
PF: Evan Mobley(C)/Dean Wade(SF/C)/Nae'Qwan Tomlin
C: Jarrett Allen/Larry Nance Jr.(PF)
Two-ways in italics. Additional positions the player could see minutes in parentheses. The Cavs have 13 players under contract, so adding one more player is required. (Tristan Thompson? Javonte Green? Some other veteran minimum?) The Cavs also have an open two-way spot. (Tristan Enaruna had a decent Summer League showing?)
It's possible Kenny Atkinson tweaks the starting SF role with Hunter, Wade, or even Tyson. Garland will miss time at the start of the season after toe surgery and that could shift Mitchell and Strus to start at the 1/2 instead of the 2/3.

Denver Nuggets
C - Nikola Jokic, Jonas Valanciunas, Zeke Nnaji
PF - Aaron Gordon, Payton Watson, DaRon Holmes II
SF - Cam Johnson, Tim Hardaway Jr., Hunter Tyson
SG - Christian Braun, Bruce Brown, Julian Strawther
PG - Jamal Murray, Jalen Pickett
Two Way: Curtis Jones, Spencer Jones
This is probably the deepest Denver has been since they became a true contender. With one more open roster spot, the obvious get would be a backup point guard. Malcolm Brogdon is my dream candidate, but if they can't afford him, maybe bring back someone like Monte Morris, or even Westbrook. Seth Curry could play the role as a spot up shooter for 10 MPG or so.
Either way, feeling pretty good about what they got going on.

Washington Wizards
PG McCollum, Carrington, AJ Johnson
SG Tre Johnson (r), Kispert, Jamir Watkins (r)
SG Coulibaly, Champagnie, Will Riley (r)
PG George, Middleton, Whitmore
C Sarr, Bagley, Vukcevic
Middleton may start, someone may impress and move up like Champagnie did last year.

Chicago Bulls
PF Buzelis Phillips Essemgue
SF Williams Okoro Terry
C Vucevic Collins Smith
SG White Huerter Dosnunmu
PG Giddey Jones Carter
Everybody else is going to start Okoro at the SF but I just think that the Bulls are going to decide they paid Patrick Williams and they are going to try a new approach with him and see if he can play or not.
I almost don't want to believe that they are going to have Nikola Vucevic to start the season. It's not defense but they played well without him and he's sure not the future they've got to trade him or buy him out. I can see them releasing Jevon Carter and even Dalen Terry, they're both just too far down the bench behind better players.
It's a deep roster but the difference between the starters at some spots and the backups is 2-3 not 1-5, nobody is head and shoulders ahead of anybody else so it's going to be hard to define who is better night to night
Dosunmu could step up and be a starter
Huerter has enough talent to start did last year late
Okoro and Williams are about even over their careers
Jones can start in the event of an injury
Smith could lay the 4 if Williams, Okoros, Phillips weren't there

New York Knicks
Brunson / Clarkson / Kolek
Bridges / McBride
Anunoby / Hart / McCullar
Towns / Yabusele / Dadiet
Robinson / Hukporti
Or
Brunson / Clarkson / Kolek
Bridges / McBride
Anunoby / McCullar / Dadiet
Hart / Yabusele
Towns / Robinson / Hukporti
Feel like we need one more guy, whether that’s a Hukporti upgrade or getting Shamet back / signing someone like Trvelin Queen…especially since I think Clarkson will be unplayable in the playoffs and Deuce will need to be our Brunson backup unless Kolek makes a major leap.

I optimistically am hoping that Billups breaks from his love of starting vets and Grant comes off the bench - but that may be wishful thinking. This is likely what I would run -
G - Scoot Henderson (30) / Jrue Holiday (18)
G - Jrue Holiday (10) / Shadeon Sharpe (32) / Matisse Thybulle (6)
F - Toumani Camara (32) / Jerami Grant (10) / Matisse Thybulle (6)
F - Deni Avdija (32) / Jerami Grant (16)
C - Donovan Clingan (24) / Robert Williams (18) / Hansen Yang (6)
Deep Bench - Blake Wesley, Rayan Rupert, Duop Reath
IR - Damian Lillard
2-Way - Caleb Love, Sidy Cissoko

You really think TJD would get the start? (Let's not even bring up the Dominican Elephant in the Room) I would be shocked

OKC - July 2025
PG : SGA , Cason , Topic
SG : Lu Dort , Caruso , Ajay Mitchell
SF : Jalen Williams , Wiggins , Isaiah Joe
PF : Chet , Kenrich , Dieng
C : I Hart , Jaylin Williams , Sorber
TW : Brooks Barnhizer , Branden Carlson , <open spot>
Plan : give minutes to the rookie contract guys see how much they can develop. At trade deadline probably might need trade Dieng and Joe for help/roster spot.

ATLANTA HAWKS as at 07/23/2025
14 players: $184.6 Million, $3.3 Million under the Luxury Tax
PG - Trae Young | Kobe Bufkin | Nikola Durisic
SG - Dyson Daniels | Nickeil Alexander-Walker | Luke Kennard
SF - Zacchary Risacher | Vit Krejci | Caleb Houstan
PF - Jalen Johnson | Mohammed Gueye | Asa Newell
C - Onyeka Okongwu | Kristaps Porzingis
Two-ways: Eli Ndiaye(SF), Jacob Toppin (SF), Keaton Wallace (PG)
Hawks have just enough money under the LT to sign a vet min contract, preferably a Big.

Utah is hard, so this could be really far off. But my best guess:
Walker Kessler/Kyle Filipowski/Jusuf Nurkic
Lauri Markkanen/Taylor Hendricks/Kyle Filipowski
Ace Bailey/Cody Williams/Lauri Markkanen
Brice Sensabaugh/Keyonte George/Svi Mykhailiuk
Walter Clayton/Isaiah Collier/Keyonte George

Hard to say for the Celtics at this point.
Something like this.
Pritchard/Simons/Davison
White/Gonzales/Scheierman
Brown/Hauser/Walsh
Niang/Minott/Tillman
Queta/Garza
The PF spot is wide open for the taking.
Also
Hard to know who rises to the top for PT among Gonzales, Scheierman, Walsh, Minott

Memphis at full health:
G - Ja (31) / SP2 (17)
G - Pope (15) / Jerome (22) / Wells (11)
F - Wells (19) / Coward (22) / Pope (7)
F - JJJ (30) / Aldama (18) /GG Jackson (?)
C - Edey (24) / Clarke (14) / Aldama (6) / Landale (4)
Likely GG and Clarke are going to battle for the last rotation spot to get any real minutes. Coward minutes could go up likely at the expense of Pope, or go down with Pope playing more. Pippen likely gets to start quite a bit with some Ja missed games and could take some of Pope's minutes if he plays like he finished last year.

PG: LaMelo Ball / Tre Mann / Spencer Dinwiddie / KJ Simpson (2W)
SG: Collin Sexton / Kon Knueppel / Pat Connaughton / Nick Smith Jr / Antonio Reeves (2W)
SF: Brandon Miller / Liam McNeeley / Sion James / DaQuan Jeffries / Josh Green (+) / Drew Peterson (2W)
PF: Miles Bridges / Grant Williams (+) / Tidjane Salaun
C: Moussa Diabate / Ryan Kalkbrenner / Mason Plumlee
The Hornets roster is hilariously imbalanced and 3 full contracts over the limit. Unknown whether Green or Grant Williams is going to be ready to start the season (though tbf, Green not playing > Green playing)

OMax or Poell likely getting dumped to open a roster spot for Exum, so I won't include them.
<Kyrie Irving>/D'Lo Russel/Brandon Williams
Klay Thompson/Max Christie/Dante Exum
Cooper Flagg/Naji Marshall/Caleb Martin
AD/PJ Washington
Gafford/Lively
