76ers get:
Nikola Vucevic
Patrick Williams
Zach Collins
2026 Top 4 Protected Chicago Bulls First Round Draft Pick (2027 - Unprotected)
2026 Lottery Protected Portland Trail Blazers First Round Draft Pick
Bulls get:
Joel Embiid
-76ers get off Embiid and pivot to a rebuild around Maxey by saving long-term money and add what could be a very valuable pick.
-Bulls take a chance on a real difference maker which doesn't come available often and see if they can buy low into a legit superstar.

I think both teams probably pass on this

That's a career killing move for Karnisovas. Way too high risk, and the Bulls still wouldn't be contenders. He'd never get a job again if the trade failed the Bulls.

Take out the picks and maybe Chicago does it. Embiid might be the worst contract left in the NBA.

Just the Port pick-and Chi would need Collins to stay. I'd HATE Embiid on the Bulls-he's one of my least favorite players ever
But, it's certainly a fun gamble to think about
Vuc/PWill/JCarter/DTerry/Port pick is the best I would offer
Chi rolls the dice and goes with
White/TJones
Okoro/Ayo
Giddey/Huerter
Matas/JSmith
Embiid/Collins
With Phillips/Noa as deep bench. If Embiid is healthy (obviously, a HUGE "if") that's a good team with lots of upside. Still have Collins/JSmith (and Noa for spot minutes) for center when Embiid is out

He shouldn't, anyway.
I think this is at least interesting. One healthy season gives them the highest upside team they've had since Rose.

Risk it to get the biscuit move for the Bulls, they would consider this, not saying they'de take this. But It's a ballsy move for sure. It's much better option then letting Vuc slip for nothing, which Is what I'm predicting for Vuc/Bulls.
Embiid to a new team could do wonders for him, would this change him?

I dont see Joel returning any picks at this juncture. The CHi guys are a bag of meh, but still.

That's a very un Bulls like move to add a $50M guy and if Karnasovas has learned anything as Bulls VP it's not to trade any more draft picks

It is interesting from a 2k or fantasy basketball perspective. If you're purely playing the odds, there's a chance that Embiid gets healthy and assuming the risk might be worth it.
But in real life, Philadelphia knows the odds of Embiid's health better than Chicago would. If Embiid has a significant chance of getting healthy, Philly keeps him. If Embiid is on the trade market, he isn't likely to get healthy and you want nothing to do with him.

I don't see Embiid getting traded without Philly attaching picks to him.

I don't think those knees are changing no matter what the team

Philly is in such an odd situation. A: If Embiid and PG sit out getting healthy until the All Star break, and then come back, Philly could be in a sneaky good place come playoff time.
B: If Embiid and PG rush back or experience another injury, they are probably a just miss the play in team (without a pick).
In either situation i don't see Embiid being moved, situation A Philly doesn't want to move him, in B no one wants him.
The only somewhat Bizzaro-world situation i see Embiid getting moved is if McCain/VJ look really good, and Philly get's a huge offer for Maxey (like near Bane-ish offer, which i don't think is too likely), and they move Maxey and then another deal moving healthly looking Embiid for picks, and then tank to try to keep their '26 1st.
So in a weird place that Embiid get's moved (see above conditions) I think the two OP picks would be required, especially taking back bad money in PW which offsets SOME (not all) of the *gamble* that CHI would be making.

I like Embiid when he plays he's impactful and even dominant at times. But, he gets hurt too much for me to want to pay him the money he gets. IF I was Philly I'd look to trade him for 2-3 smaller deals that might benefit from a new oppty. Getting a couple of #1's would be great. Some team will want him.

At least with Vuc he plays nightly. PWill, in theory, could be a solid piece. Sixers save A TON of $
For the Bulls, it'd be the biggest of gambles. With Collins/JSmith they can cover Embiid's frequent absences
