Bucks out: Kuzma
Bucks in: Demar
Get a big time shot maker to help Giannis. Defense good enough to cover for him.
KPJ - Trent - Demar - Giannis - Turner

Nets out: MPJ
Nets in: Kuzma, Monk, Carter
Nets get two easier to digest contracts. Monk played well when we had Jordi, and could help keep the team exciting. Carter is a recent lotto pick they get here for essentially free.

Kings out: Monk, Demar, Carter
Kings in: MPJ
Kings get a forward, clear out a bunch of guys from the Monte regime, and open a spot for Russ lmao.
Schroder - LaVine - Keegan - MPJ - Sabonis
Russ - Keon - Nique - Isaac Jones - Maxime

Fair feedback. I don't know a ton about those guys, but from what I read, 1 is more of a point/forward, another is a SF, and one is a big. I don't think it really gets in the way.

PG - Traoré / Carter
SG - Saraf / Monk
SF - Demin / Powell

For a team like this, I'd imagine the plan is to develop as many of these guys into real players as they can. Jordi was with Sac when we drafted Carter, and the rumor was last season they wanted Carter in the trade for Cam Johnson that we turned down.

As for why Kuzma over Demar, I'd assume its just that Demar takes more shots away from the team, and plays the position they do already have 2 rookies. Kuzma is going to be expiring in a year and is really a stop gap until this deadline or next summer. He slots in ahead of Wolf for now.

Not at all an MPJ fan. His game will not do well in Sac because he also needs superior defenders to cover him. And he is a terrible rebounder for his size/position.

No. Pass.

Terrible rebounder for his position? I'm sorry man but that is factually incorrect. Outside of Hart/Amen, I don't think another SF rebounded more than him. He would have been our 2nd leading rebounder last year.

As for defense, I don't disagree. But this trade has us sending out Monk/Demar who aren't good defenders by any standard. I'd argue MPJ is an upgrade for the defense over Demar pretty easily. He is also a 40% 3pt shooter who is 6'10, two things this team desperately needs. I like Carter but this dumb ass team is hell bent on moving him to make room for Russ, at least here we use him to upgrade some other spots and have a team that might be able to win 45 games.

Bucks punted Lillard to return to being a defending team. Demar is not anywhere near the kind of player we want, he also sucks.

No thanks from Brooklyn. Kuzma for DeRozan makes sense, keep it simple.

I think the Kings would require compensation in that swap. DeRozans the better player and on a partial guarantee for next season.
