BOS OUT (45 M USD): Anfernee Simons, Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard
BOS IN (47 M USD): Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo
Celtics have a more balanced roster after this trade, fill the PG depth by adding some vet min

MIN OUT (47 M USD): Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo
MIN IN (32,5 M USD): Kyle Kuzma, Sam Hauser, 2026 FRP (MIL/NOP)
Get rid of Gobert, add draft capital, save money

BUCKS OUT (22.4 M USD): Kyle Kuzma
BUCKS IN (27.6 M USD): Anfernee Simons
More salary in the short term, cap relief after one year, get a scorer @ guard position

ATL OUT (0 M USD): TPE, 2026 FRP (MIL/NOP)
ATL IN (7,2 M USD): Payton Pritchard
Hawks trade for a T. Young back up, 6th man at very low salary

You want Atlanta to trade a pick that has a high likelihood of being a lottery pick for a backup to their best player?

ATL doesn't move that FRP for Pritchard, MIN doesn't take that package for Gobert, MIL probably does this, BOS steals value.

I have this as terrible for Minnesota and Atlanta. Wouldn't even start a conversation for either.

Hawks say Big NO!
Not trading an unprotected 1st for a backup and the bigger issue is Hawks aren't exceeding the Luxury Tax.

This is just the Celtics robbing two separate teams with the hope that by splitting the theft in two, neither one minds that much.

Also, if the Celtics F.O. was permitted to go this route, Porzingis would still be on the roster and they wouldn't have to trade for Gobert.

Kudos to the OP for finding a worse trade than NOP trading that 1st in the first place. Sheeeesh...

Boston would have get under the 1st apron because they get hard capped for taking in more money than sending out.

IN Boston's salary situation with the Jays on supermaxes, having Pritchard and Hauser is particularly important given that those two guys are locked up for 3 or 4 years. I read the comments that Celts were getting the better end of this deal, but I don't even think Boston would do this.

Atlanta is not giving up that unprotected first. Not for this return, but I don't think for any reasonable return until they see what they have and what NOP/MIL look like

I don't think this deal framework is a conversation starter really

Id put money on that, Bucks are 100% a playoff team in bunko ass east next season and probably a top 4 seed.

gd you guys must overrate Dame and haven’t watched him in years, did not move the needle on the Bucks at all.

Atlanta has the Pelicans 1st *or* the Bucks 1st, whichever is higher

This is really bad value/roster construction for the Wolves. They definitely need another two PFs on the roster.

This creates a hole they didn’t have (Center) and neither Kuzma or Hauser sees time over Randle or Naz.
