Phoenix - LAL - Utah

Phoenix trade: O'Neale
Phoenix receive: Anderson

LAL trade: Kleber, 2nd(s)
LAL receive: O'Neale

Utah trade: Anderson
Utah receive: Kleber, 2nd(s)

Why for Phoenix: get more passing and size in front court, duck the tax
Why for LAL: add a 3/D wing next to Luka
Why for Utah: add some minor assets

add 2nd(s) as needed

Even just Lakers-Suns part.

I could see Suns looking to get SRPs over O'Neale. They aren't contending, this is a development season for them really.

i think they prefer ducking the tax.. unless they do that elsewhere but not much other salary to shed. with how raw malauch is and how fragile williams is i think they hold onto richards

It's fine all around. Might be more of a fallback position for Utah.

Maybe. I thought moving Richards into space was a good idea. I mean they have Mark, Oso, Maluach.

No way Lakers will take back O'Neal, he's owed 3 more years AND will cost draft capital. If the Lakers arent willing to go 2 years on DFS, then they def wont go for 3 years on O'Neal.

I like O'neale, but I agree that if LAL is set on preserving cap space, this makes more sense as a direct UTA-LAL deal.

Kleber has turned himself into a really bad basketball player. I think Utah could do better with SloMo

I doubt that the Suns do this deal. They would save barely anything this season and O'Neale has a reasonable contract.

And it’s not like they have a lot of picks to send out carelessly.
