I'm playing around with a general framework, but throwing this out there:

Kings receive: Castle, Kuminga, Hield
Spurs receive: Monk, Keegan Murray, '27 1st returned
Warriors receive: Harrison Barnes, Devin Carter

The Kings get the Kuminga move done and bring in a big, do everything lead guard to complement LaVine. Buddy returns to town (not sure if this a good thing or not, but this team could certainly use some shooting). Don't love how all the pieces fit together, particularly from a shooting perspective, but there's at least some interesting pieces in place.

The Warriors bring Barnes back into the fold, filling a hole for them as a 3/D 4 man, while taking a flier on Carter as a 2nd year guard that could potentially be a nice piece for them.

The Spurs bring improve their long-term fit/shooting profile, bringing in Murray as a 3+D forward. Monk reunites with Fox, filling a 6th man scoring role for them.

Flame away, I would.

The whole point of Sac adding Kuminga is to finally get a second forward next to Keegan. I fail to see how this makes us better short term or long term.
Schroder - LaVine - Demar - Kuminga - Sabonis (Holy awful shooting)
Castle - Keon - Hield- Nique - Jones - Maxime
Not saying our lineup looks good now, but my god how many guys can you have that want the ball in their hands and can't shoot. Also the premise for Sac is off, we aren't building around LaVine. Perry has said repeatedly he isnt a long term piece. He's not a winning player. We don't want him, but asking him to be the only shooter in the lineup is certainly a decision.

This also doesn't feel like the direction Warriors want to go in. They don't get a 1st, they have to move off Buddy, they take back a guy the fan base hates. Sac's standalone offer to them is better than this.

For the Spurs this feels like a dream. 1st back (which the Kings can't do because it's partially traded to OKC top 16 protected). They add a forward who is a great fit next to Fox/Wemby. And they add Fox's best friend.

Way too good for the Kings at the Spurs' expense. And I hate SA, so I'd love to see them get worse.

This is tough because the three main players in this trade all get rated too highly in my opinion.

I have it as Castle > Murray >Spurs 1st > Kuminga. I think Castle and Kuminga are a poor fit together. The Kings should not target both. If I'm the Spurs, Murray hasn't shown enough over three seasons to make me give up Castle this early even with the pick.

I don't think this is fixable. Just cut the Spurs.

Certainly wouldn't mind Black Falcon (does anybody even call him this anymore ) as the 3/4 on this Warriors team

Kings don't need a castle. Murray is more valuable to the kings. We have so many offensive guards already, he doesn't have a role on the kings roster we have lavine and ellis at shooting guard. We can't trade lavine so this is just a bad move for the kings.

Good deal for Warriors, bad deal for Kings, Spurs stealing value.

This is basically a non starter for all the above listed reasons.

Don’t see it as great for any of the three teams. Spurs I guess. No benefit to GS with no interest in Devin Carter and Barnes still reportedly having some hard feelings with Draymond.

Imo even if Barnes is "just another guy at this point", he showed this season that he's still better than Kuminga who has been nothing but iron pyrite so far in his career. I think that he's a better option for GSW by far than JK on the QO (but not if they can sign him to a team friendly deal, moveable on 12/15). I'd give Carter an incomplete at this point rather than a failing grade. Eye of the beholder, I guess.

Not really pinning this one on Dray. Barnes still feeling some kind of way about Dray leading the charge for KD at his expense is more on him imo. Was the right move for all parties then (Barnes still got his deal with Dallas) and now

I think I generally agree with your ranking (Kuminga on a negotiated deal > this trade > Kuminga on the QO); I just don't see the QO as a legitimate threat no matter how many times JK's agent floats it to the press. Unless he gets close to a max next offseason there's just no way he makes up the extra ~$37M he'd be leaving on the table on a 2/45 deal vs. the QO

Spurs are giving value to help the Kings out. Makes no sense for them.

It's more than just Draymond, salty toward the whole org as he was the one that had to go to get KD. Imagine you get drafted, start for a team that wins a chip and sets the record for wins in a season and you get shipped out.

Exactly. Can’t blame Barnes. He’s a class act and didn’t deserve that.
