LAC - GSW - Utah - Sacramento

Utah trade: Lauri, Anderson, Love
Utah receive: Leonard, Moody, Dunn, Saric, SAC 2030 LP 1st (becomes lesser of SAC/MINN 2031 1st if not conveyed), LAC 2031 swap (with utah and lesser of SAC/MINN 1st), LAC 2032 1st

Sacramento trade: Derozan, Saric, 2030 LP 1st (becomes lesser of SAC/MINN 2031 1st if not conveyed)
Sacramento receive: Kuminga (S&T), Anderson

GSW trade: Butler, Moody, Kuminga (S&T)
GSW receive: Lauri, Derozan, Love

LAC trade: Leonard, Dunn, 2031 swap, 2032 1st
LAC receive: Butler

Why for Utah: cash out Lauri for a young wing and 2 1sts and a swap. Dunn can probably be flippes for seconds too
Why for Sacramento: load up on PFs
Why for GSW: add more size and spacing in Lauri. Replace butler's creation with Derozan
Why for LAC: liquidate assets before they get confiscated
Why for Kuminga: go where he wanna go

Add more 2nds (to utah?) if needed

We aren't waiting 5 years to get any value for Lauri even if the compensation in a vacuum is fine. Zero interest in Leonard, Saric isn't an NBA player, Moody and Dunn are fine but not franchise altering in any way. I think this makes more sense as Leonard to Sacramento or Golden State. I also don't see Golden State downgrading from Butler to Lauri and also having to play DeRozan.

Figured if you were okay with eating kuzma and Barrett's salary in your other deal you wouldnt mind the likely to be void deal of leonard on your capsheet for couple years..

I dont think lauri is a downgrade from Butler given the latters age and mileage

If we have a pick that could be lottery coming back in 2026 instead of one of the far away ones it looks a lot better.

I don't see this for GS - kind of bad look moving Butler so soon, and current DDR and Love are major downgrades from JK/Moody. Also might have 1st apron hard cap issues as well (don't care enough to check).

Mosly I don't see the league allowing the Clippers to trade any future picks or Leonard until after their investigation.

This is a non starter for GS. We’d expect to get significant additional value in a Butler for Lauri swap, and instead we’re giving up value

I don't think Clippers trades where they're sending out Leonard or 1st round picks will be approved by the league office under the current circumstances.

Warriors paid wiggins and a late 1st for Butler. I dont think butler is worth more than that on his new deal at his age. I have lauri worth a bit more

I don't think I agree with either part of this post.

Warriors got Butler at a discount because he was causing a stink and demanding out. I think even Miami fans would tell you that Wiggins and a late 1st wasn't representative of his actual value on the court. Butler is happy in GS (for now, at least) and his contract isn't an issue since it expires the same time as Steph and Draymond

Second, I don't think Lauri is worth Wiggins and a 1st right now given his recent play and massive extension.

Butler came at a discount because he wanted a max extension and nobody but gsw and phoenix think he is worth that much for how much time he misses

I don’t think the league is letting LA do anything major like this currently. I do think Butler/Harden with good depth is enough to win a championship - which is worth extending the painful rebuild that’s coming. But can’t see the league letting LA do it.

And I think GSW is the last team in the league to care about Butler’s age. They need the best player possible next to Curry the next 1-2 years. After Curry, they will be entering a complete blank rebuild. Would not downgrade Butler to Lauri. Kuminga (starting at 24), Moody, and Santos for Demar is probably on the table if GSW wants to spend up to the second apron..

Hard pass for the Warriors, zero interest in Derozan and I'd much rather have Jimmy on a 2yr than Lauri on his longer deal (especially with the age of Curry/Green and a rebuild coming).

I get the idea, but it's hard to think of a worse player to add to a Curry/Butler/Draymond core than Demar DeRozan

The Warriors went 23-7 with Butler, which is equivalent to 63-win club. While they probably can't maintain the pace throughout the season due to the core's age, there is no reason for the Warriors to trade Butler when the core worked very well during the regular season/playoffs. And, if they trade him, they'd better get something to improve from where they are, and that would be realistically impossible. The realistic way to improve the club is to add talents to the current core.
