OKC-Chi

Post#1 » by pipfan » Mon Sep 22, 2025 5:42 pm

I like this for both clubs

Sorber/Dieng/2 seconds (they have lots of them) for JSmith/Port pick
Better for the Bulls if the picks are dropped, but Sorber (even with the injury) probably still has solid value

OKC saves enough to get under the tax and gets a young vet to back up the 4 and 5. They also add the Port pick-always welcome in OKC. Chet will miss games, and JSmith can eat some minutes

Bulls are wasting JSmith's value. Vuc/Collins will get most of the minutes, and we need to find a spot for Noa
Here, the Bulls add Dieng (a long-time target of mine-the kid's got talent) and Sorber. Of course, he's out with an injury, but I like his upside. Plus, the Bulls add some 2nds

a) OKC is already under the tax, dont need to save more money right now
b) value wise i have Sorber (late 1st) > Port pick >= 2 seconds > Smith > Dieng. Chicago stealing value
c) i think OKC can do soemthing like kenrich/dieng/2nds for Smith if they really wanted smith

Dieng and a 2nd for Smith feels closer .

My bad-Hoopshype had them at $190 million, a bit over the tax. I should have known Presti wouldn't do that

I like Smith-Donovan doesn't seem to want to play him. I think he'd fit nicely off OKC's bench
